That's basically the lineup for WGN Superstation for whenever a Cubs or Bulls game is on Comcast or WCIU. :puke: I honestly don't see what's keeping WGN from just airing most Cubs and Bulls games. Yeah, the rights fees would be more expensive, but I can't possibly believe the increased ad revenue wouldn't defray that. They could be Your Home for Chicago Sports (they already call themselves that, but it would actually be true this time). How could this miss?

Very solid pick in my opinion. I never understood the "best player available" strategy. I mean, even if Adrian Peterson is still on the board at 14, would it really make sense for Carolina to pick him, already having Foster and Williams? You can always spin off the pick to someone who wants AD at that spot - it's not like there would be a shortage of teams to pick from.

The Padres do not have a gray jersey, I don't think. Their road jerseys are that urine-colored shirt they wear and they sometimes wear their blue jerseys, but I don't recall them having a gray. You're correct about SF, though. I'm pretty sure SD is the only team in the majors without a gray road uniform.

What crap ass players? Murton? Soriano? Dlee? Aram? Jones? Barret? Derosa? Honestly, I know you are gonna say Izzy, or Marquis or something like that. But really, how much does 1 or 2 "crap" players hurt us with our team? Guys like Blanco, Izzy, Cedeno, and Marquis. I'm not criticizing our team, I really like our team, but maybe it'll be a reversal of the Cards' fortunes and our "scrubs" will have their career years, like Scott Spiezio, Hector Luna, So Taguchi, and Jeff Suppan have had during their tenures with the Cardinals. Tony Womack. Six-year minor league veteran Chris Duncan coming up and tearing the world apart out of nowhere. Just about every reliever they've ever acquired. Hell, just about any pitcher period.

He'd better not. Notre Dame and Penn State's white roadies are two of my very favorite jerseys in college football.

Every softball team I've ever seen or played on wore T-shirts and not jerseys, so I'm not sure where the softball jersey joke became fashionable. Wherever it came from, it's getting as played out as the towel drill jokes.

Remember a lot of Cubs fans liked Pierre until he sucked so terribly that it became trendy to dislike him. I'm not sure that would be a good idea even if it were possible.

I love the pinstripes - maybe the best home uni's in all of baseball behind the Yankees and Red Sox. I think the blues should be made strictly a road alt and banned from home games - but not from all games completely.

This sucks as I thought the blues were among the best alts in baseball. We need to get better grays if we're going to do this.

What is it with Carr and Tuiasosopo and other retreads that we're considering? Draft someone in the third or fourth round or something. Besides, if we add Carr, then there'll be the inevitable three weeks when Delhomme sucks and everyone thinks "gee, maybe Carr can play". He's had better than a 60% completion percentage each of the last three years and he's been pretty steadily improving it (career high 68% last season). His TD:INT ratio hasn't been real good, but I blame that more on lack of talent around him than his being a retread. He's probably much better than any player you could get in the third or fourth round. Tuiasosopo, on the other hand, is a retread. He's probably better than Delhomme. That's not all that comforting for a Panthers' fan though. The case can defenitely be made. With far superior talent around him, Delhomme has completed 60 and 61 percent of his passes the last two years respectively while having a +3, +14, +8 and +6 TD:INT ratio each of the last four years. He's probably better, but it's hard to say for sure because Carr has had inferior players around him. This would be a very good signing for the Panthers should they grab Carr. EDIT: Plus, Delhomme is 32 while Carr is 27 (28 later this year). If we're going to get Carr, then we better just release or trade Delhomme. I really don't want to see any kind of QB controversy in Charlotte. The lucky thing for me is that I'm sure their front office won't allow one.

I hate UF students. Three straight national titles in the major sports, and there's every chance they could go right out and make it four next football season. Stupid spoiled kids.
