What about the fact that he's still among the worst hitting major leaguers? That counts for nothing? He's got a higher than .380 OBP on the Cubs. I couldn't care less where he's ranked for the full season if he keeps that up.

This would probably be the case if we had won that game. Same with Sammy's game tying 9th inning 2 out HR in game 1. Sammy's HR in that game was one of the most exciting sports moments of my life. Truly amazing. 4thed.

Next year he'll pile in non-injury-prone hitters and we'll somehow have the coaching staff start going down with injuries.
