  1. no, that would just be lucky. It's irrelevant, since they'll lose all those games by healthy margins. If anybody would know about losing by healthy margins, you surely would :D It hurts because it's true...
  2. Haha, clearly the Illini are destined to be a perennial Rose Bowl selection, what with them doubling their previous 2 year's win total. Maybe next year you can keep from falling down by 4 TDs so the "we should've won" excuses don't sound worse than Notre Dame/USC circa 2005. I'm offended by this. I'm loving this, BTW, keep it going. Hilarity on both ends.

  4. double post
  5. And I for one think Illinois will follow what Notre Dame did the last two years when their slot was in question and get handled by their opponent. The only difference is that unlike 05 and 06, that team won't have the double whammy of also facing the best team not in the title game (since Georgia probably has that distinction this season).
  6. I'm jacked for BSU/Rutgers. Ray Rice is really freaking good, but with the exception of Nebraska, Ball State's done well all year defensively against QB's that don't run and our offense is dangerous. The Knights only have two good wins - USF and Navy. Plus, you know, it's Toronto, so I'll be drinking.
  7. That's some mind bendingly awful logic. I agree. I mean.....wow. Are you saying a team shouldn't get credit for beating a team ranked in the top 5 in the nation? What constitutes a top 5 win? My logic is apparently flawed so please explain. I'll explain in three sentences. ND beat No. 3 Michigan at the Big House in 2005. Michigan finished 7-5. No one did or should have considered that a top 5 win. End. when you go back and cite a certain team's all-time record against #1 teams, that does't necessarily mean that every one of those #1 teams goes on to win the national title, does it? now, that's nailed, right? Alright, fine. In that case I'm going back and using this any time someone says Charlie Weis has never beaten a top 20 team (luckily, now that we suck this topic doesn't come up as much).

  10. CMU/Purdue is official. Purdue led that game 38-0 at one point in the regular season. What a ridiculous matchup.
  11. That's some mind bendingly awful logic. I agree. I mean.....wow. Are you saying a team shouldn't get credit for beating a team ranked in the top 5 in the nation? 12. Sugar Bowl. Oklahoma has to get the other invite (they'll play WVU in the Fiesta). Plus Georgia is getting an auto-bid.
  13. That's some mind bendingly awful logic. I agree. I mean.....wow. Appalachian State beat a Top 5 team this season (UM), and so did Rutgers (USF), and so did Florida State (BC).
  14. I can't believe Tampa's not only going to win the division with Jeff McGradkowncia at QB but cruise to it quite easily.
  15. It's looking more and more like a CMU/Purdue Motor City Bowl, which should be a blast considering they played in the regular season and Purdue won 45-22.
  16.   I love Pure Evil version of IMB
  17. Jon Beason ranks 10th in the league coming into today, but no one's even going to notice because Willis is so ridiculous. I realllllly wish Carolina had been able to get him.
  18. The Panthers win their first home game in like a year and a half, and break a 5-game losing streak... And are a Bears loss away from being one game out of the last playoff spot in the NFC (and free-falling Detroit). I love the NFC.
  19. I don't think either UF or Michigan puts up that many points, but for the most part, yeah, those are pretty reasonable projections
  20. Kansas and Illinois in the BCS would be a joke. If Kansas doesn't get the auto-bid I could see the Orange passing on them for Missouri. That'll be the most interesting thing. Then again, the Fiesta could potentially pass on them both for ASU if that was the case which would be anarchy.
  21. My new predictions USC/Illinois in Rose Georgia/Hawaii in Sugar Oklahoma/West Virginia in Fiesta Va Tech/Kansas in Orange
  22. LSU is going to disembowel Ohio State.
  23. I wouldn't be either, but the only issue is, for whom do they pass them up? Although OU and Kansas didn't play in the regular season, I wouldn't expect they'd be too jacked about what is basically a plus-one conference title game.
  24. Oh holy crap I forgot West Virginia. Good call Andy. The Sugar takes them, not BC. Sugar: Georgia vs. West Virginia (rematch of the classic of a couple years ago)
  25. Ball State is 0-6 for the first time in 84 years after losing to Valparaiso. Teams are shooting like 47 percent against us from 3 this year, it's driving me insane.
