  1. Splendid AB by Soriano. I really wish he'd just leave.
  2. Jon talking about Fontenot not testing Schumaker's arm when the ball's 50 feet out of the infield. They wouldn't test my arm from that distance, let alone Schumaker's.
  3. I think he's still in the minors with them. There's no B-R record of him leaving the organization.
  4. You have to allow for the birds-on-the-bat effect though. On any other team his ERA is probably above 5.
  5. Frankly, he reminds me of Tadahito Iguchi. I was thinking Tsuyoshi Shinjo Kenji Johjima. Come on, that's obvious.
  6. "Wellemeyer was put on WAIVERS by KC, and STL was desperate, so they picked him up, and he did well!" Jon Miller is still surprised by this stuff I guess.
  7. I hate trying to break into this business and knowing I could be better than either of these idiots are in their roles given the time to do some research.
  8. Joe is needlessly trashing Japanese baseball leagues now, and I'm not really sure why. "Pujols's numbers would be astronomical if he played in Japan"
  9. How many times have they mentioned 1908? None yet. They did mention 1945 as being the last year we led the NL in OBP.
  10. Joe blatantly stole that point from Sports Illustrated
  11. Marquis, you sack of freaking crap. 5-2 after this Pujols homer.
  12. Cardinals' Generic Minor League White Outfielder Y worked with McGwire this offseason... ...so that's why all those crappy minor leaguers come up and rake...
  13. Joe trying to say that if you have a good plate approach you can be Albert Pujols.
  14. Lee, Ramirez and Fukudome. Now, he shouldn't be batting 6th in this lineup without Aramis, but I have no issue with him 6th in the regular lineup. Fukudome should be hitting either leadoff or #2. Obviously, but Lou is too stupid to do it, so I'll take what I can get.
  15. Lee, Ramirez and Fukudome. Now, he shouldn't be batting 6th in this lineup without Aramis, but I have no issue with him 6th in the regular lineup.
  16. Theriot, Fontenot and Cedeno all playing fairly well makes my brain hurt, but I enjoy it. Let's see a bomb, Reed.
  17. So we whine about Dusty destroying his starters by leaving them in too long, and now we're going to whine about Lou having too quick of a hook? I don't think anyone gives a crap if Marquis's arm suffers effects from being in too long.
