    Seriously. I'd be pissed. It's like Prior after the Giles collision. Sure it may not be a shoulder injury. But if he injures his knee there's no telling how that will affect his motion. Didn't he also require knee surgery at one point in his career? He started this season on the DL because he had surgery on his right knee. Ah, sounds like this was his left knee. The same knee he just landed on. Go fig.

    For those of us not in front of a TV, what happened? Fielder decided to race Reed to first base, Gallardo was right next to Fielder and tried to avoid the play, jumped over Reed, and landed on his extended left leg. Looked bad. And Yost is just [expletive] if he stays in.

    right now he is but he started like this last year too. .175 .230 .298 coming into today. Through his first 13 games last season he was hitting .260 .302 .400. Not quite the same thing. not the whole picture though last year he had 0 hr 1 rbi 6 r in first 13 games this year he has 2 hr 5 rbi 7 r and we still have the rest of this game to go. 5 RBI and 7 R is the result of playing for a better offense than he was last year. Soriano has pretty much been a waste of space this year.

    I think usually this is the case but for some reason I have a hunch that it might be different in the case of a double off. I think you may have to tag because until then you don't have a claim to any base.

    What on earth has Cedeno done to convince you that he will be above average? At the risk of falling into the sample size trap, .367/.417/.545 in 44 ABs this year, working more deep counts than ever, going oppo like a pro and generally owning most of the ABs he has had in 2008. And everyone else already mentioned the AAA numbers.

    Hey El Caballo Ronny Cedeno is better than your shortstop. HAHA okay dude. I didnt come here to argue so I will just leave it at that. Horrible argument to make because one of the players has made an all star team and then showed that he didn't deserve it afterwards, and the other has only shown the ability to be competent for one month. Eh you can't act like giving up a hit to Ronny Cedeno is grounds to get sent to the minors. Cedeno is turning into a good hitter. Cedeno wasn't, but that performance overall sure as hell was.
