I know he has been good all year, but **** kerry wood. You have to get through the crap that is the bottom of the cardinals order. they'd be crap on most teams, but molina and skippy have hardly been crap this year. same with miles. They're all hitting .298 or higher. It's unbelievable. And Rick Ankiel has 3 more homers than any Cubs player. It's mind-blowing. The only bad thing that has ever happened to the Cardinals was Ankiel, so why wouldn't he come back and become a slugging CF? Daryl Kile's death was a blessing in disguise. Oh fine.

Dave Duncan makes bad pitchers good. My question has always been, how come none of these guys can take their adjustments from Duncan and continue being acceptable after they leave STL?

I did however see enough of the early going of the game to hear Len mentioning TLR's comments. I sometimes forget how truly hateable that guy is. What a jackass.
