I will personally keep this thread going with Post-Pujols, Waino injuries, regardless of the outcome. KyleJRM, if I forget, pick up the slack. We do have other game threads if you want to do that. I will be.
I am about two days away from requesting that the Cardinals send their Rookie League team out in Cardinals uniforms for two weeks just to see what happens.
I would rather beat a healthy Cardinals, but Cubbies75 said it best in another thread - it's been so long, I really don't give a crap how we win it all. That being said, we feel your pain, Cards fans. Rough season on the injury front.
I want to be a sports reporter but I'm willing to take anything else and work my way into it. I interviewed for a position at the Lafayette Journal and Courier that would've had me writing obituaries.
DeRo became one of my favorite Cubs faster than any new acquisition we've ever had. There's not one thing he's not good at, he'll do anything for you, and he seems to get how special playing for the Cubs is more so than most anybody.
Awww, that would just be too bad. I never like to see someone injured, but you know -- it's about damn time the Cards starting having to deal with the consequences of just throwing random players into whatever role they feel like it regardless of whether the player is capable of handling that role or not. I'm still waiting for something to happen to Braden Looper.
