  1. Well, this is a bunch of [expletive].
  2. @ CLE @ KC vs. DET @ MIN Were we really @KC? The last time I remember playing them was 2002 and it was at Wrigley. The only other year that we've played the Central since was 2006 and we missed the Royals that year.
  3. Let Milwaukee's soul-sucking collapse continue. Put the Brewers in the http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e67/ndistops/Dumpster.jpg
  4. I'm pretty sure most Sox fans basically think of him as their Ron Santo - they know he's not the best, but he's theirs.
  5. Ron will get in regardless, but I want to see it happen while he's alive. HOF voters (and for that matter every kind of voter) have a bad habit of not giving a crap about anything until someone passes away, and Ronnie deserves to have an induction ceremony.
  6. I have a feeling Adrian Peterson is going to destroy us. We were only able to somewhat contain LT and Forte, and Peterson is just a whole different animal (physically speaking). Smith's back, though. Hopefully that means an offense that scores touchdowns before the 4th quarter.
  7. I'm feeling the same way for lambasting the Panthers for taking Stewart over Mendenhall at the moment. This is a hell of an entertaining game.
  8. I thought that was against the Reds. One was against the Reds, I think the other was against a different team (Pittsburgh or Milwaukee I want to say). ETA: Yeah, Lieber one-hit the Reds, then Wood one-hit the Brewers the next day. Those games were in the middle of our 12-game streak.
  9. I'm buying this movie regardless of what happens from here on out. There's too much Cubby goodness from this season that needs to be savored and resavored.
  10. Ever-smart Lou is throwing Jason Marquis in this series to try and help you snatch one of these games and sneak into the playoffs so we can play the Dodgers.
  11. I wasn't a Cubs fan in 1998 when Wood had his game and even if I was I wouldn't have understood the significance, since I was 11. This kicks ass.
  12. I like having nothing to worry about. I'm at work and would've been a little disappointed if I'd missed all but 6 outs of back to back no-hitters.
  13. All three of my football teams won, the Cubs reduced their magic number by like 5 without even playing more than once, and CARLOS ZAMBRANO THREW A MOTHER FORNICATING NO-HITTER. This is the best sports weekend EVER. GO CUBS GO!
  14. Remember all those times we said it was going to be some idiot like Marquis that threw the no-no? I'm so happy it wasn't. :D CARLOS ZAMBRANO
  15. This is the greatest season in Cubs history. It already was, but....amazing. CARLOS EFFING ZAMBRANO THROWS A NO-HITTER!!!!
  16. NO HITTER!!!!!! YES YES carlos zambrano!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  17. ONE MORE!!!!! HOLY CRAP COME ON Z!!!!!
  18. Matt Winer, how I love seeing your face right now. Z!!!!!!! COME ON! Len and Bob feed!
  19. COME ON ZAMBRANO!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. ESPN just said they will cut in for the bottom of the 9th. Three outs away. Unbelievable.
  21. CARLOS ZAMBRANO!!! omg this is incredible
  22. Pat's not bothering trying to hide it either.
  23. I think the Astros are wearing their road unis to silently protest. Are the Cubs wearing their homes? I'm not watching.
  24. Haha, Pat talking about how the Brewers' score flashed on the screen and the Miller Park fans cheered. Insane.
