  1. Northwestern and Penn State are still in the Big Ten and there are plenty of teams in that conference capable of playing a bad enough game for IU to beat them. I'll give them 4 or 5 Big Ten wins.
  2. I don't know about going for 2 there.
  3. Kasay makes a field goal to ice this craptastic game. 17-6. Panthers 7-2 but lots to work on before Detroit next week.
  4. Jake Delhomme and Andrew Walter's QB ratings are 34. Combined.
  5. Chris Gamble intercepts Andrew Walter. Dick Stockton immediately calls it incomplete, ignoring the ref waving the interception signal, clear as day, on the field.
  6. fortunately you're playing the raiders. Any other team would be destroying us. We're winning 14-6 and by no means deserve to be. Even Detroit at least would put some points on the board in these spots.
  7. Jake throws his 4th pick. This is a disgraceful day for him.
  8. Jake Delhomme throws his 3rd pick and now it's 14-3. WTF
  9. DeAngelo dashes for 69 yards and a TD to make it 14-0. :D
  10. Good lord our offense is embarrassing today. 14 attempts for 36 yards and 2 interceptions by Jake and we can't run the ball either.
  11. If the Raiders are alive in this game, Al Davis is a good owner. Your defense looks good. Or our offense is playing horrible, one or the other.
  12. Stupid throw by Jake and Oakland looks alive again. We can feel free to not let Justin Fargas average 8 yards a carry today.
  13. Chris Fowler and Craig James can both bite me. Both have BSU ranked 25th in their AP ballots (no one has us out of the polls), and Fowler actually dropped us a spot after we destroyed Northern Illinois. BSU should destroy Miami, the RedHawks are 2-7 with one of those wins over I-AA Charleston Southern and has freshmen at QB and RB. Miami has historically played us well no matter what, but we've never been remotely this good. I don't care hardly at all about ND/Navy. If we lose Charlie's feet are officially in the fire, if we win this season is still annoying. This team is more frustrating than last year in a way - at least last year we knew we would be crappy each week. This team is underachieving significantly.

  15. James is a 5 percent three-point shooter on the season and drains two to finish the Bulls tonight. Of course.
  16. Why does MSU jump Ball State for beating Purdue when the team BSU beat (NIU) would probably destroy them? Lather, rinse, repeat for Florida State.
  17. didn't know the sec had a gender. And his 'conceding' looks more to me like his 'coinciding'.
  18. Kentucky beating Georgia would move us up another spot. Go Cats.
  19. Minnesota really, really sucks. From what I can tell the Big Ten goes Penn State Ohio State Michigan State Everybody else
  20. Western Michigan making the MAC look good by pounding Illinois at Ford Field.
  21. Stop being a pity fan, IMB, geez
  22. It was his nickname at Notre Dame, for some reason. He got it from preying upon weak secondaries (like a shark), if I'm not mistaken. I thought it was because with his nose that, from a profile view, he looks like a shark. Wade is correct. His teammates gave it to him as a poking-fun kind of thing.
  23. Unfortunately the odds are against you being proven wrong, and I doubt stomping crappy Big Ten bowl team no. 7 in the Motor City Bowl would change anyone's mind
  24. I was at BW3's watching the Browns and this game was on too. Some wild Ute fans were celebrating at the end. Great game, and hopefully Ball State can jump TCU in the polls. Next step would be Utah losing to BYU.
  25. Good lord...I clearly hadn't watched enough of the Browns to realize how horrid their D is. That McDonald was just getting abused by the end of the game...poor guy probably has burn marks all over him. Granted, not the best of defenses that he faced, but Brady Quinn was great. Much better than I thought he'd be off a short week. Pity most of his teammates didn't give him much of a chance tonight.
