    Yup pretty much BS huh. I'm pretty sure it's in the rulebook if you slam equipment forcefully it's an automatic $5,000 fine and subject for ejection based on discretion of the umpire. If said equipment hits an opposing player or umpire it's fair game for a suspension. I think he means BS the other direction. They tried to give Bradley 2 games for a hat bump and Dye gets 2 for throwing stuff at him?

    MLB's inconsistency on those suspensions is absolutely laughable.

    A pattern of playing worse than an inferior team for three-game stretches is called 'baseball', and the fact that we try and pretend playoff baseball is a completely different sport gets more annoying each time I read it.

    Cardinals are going to lose again, for those who aren't watching. 5-2 down to Pittsburgh in the 9th.

    They give you the schools? I'm going to ace that one. ETA: I got 119 in four and a half minutes but couldn't for the life of me guess Arkansas State because I only remember them as the Indians. Damn.

    I have a special kind of annoyance for Ludwick, and since this isn't a severe or majorly painful injury, I don't feel the least bit guilty about being happy about it.

    I've been to two games this year, Lee sucked at both games, and I heard no such thing. Maybe they're more common lately, but there weren't any at the games I attended.

    I don't care if he sends Zambrano to first, someone else needs to play. Lee is a parody of himself right now. I'm really beginning to think the physical part of it isn't the whole story for Lee. I think he's shown a whole lot of decline not just since the wrist, but since his daughter got diagnosed with that disorder. I think he may not be fully focused on the game, which would be completely understandable. Just a theory. In a pre-game interview on 720 with judd serott, Lee said that it was actually a misdiagnosis, and that his daughter does not actually have that disease, and her sight is no longer degenerating. So it's not that. Well, I guess that's really good news for him. Unfortunately it doesn't change his current suckitude at baseball. What I don't really like is that Lee will never get booed because he's a nice guy. And I'm sure he is, but if guys are going to get booed, then boo guys that suck, not just guys you don't like.
