  1. Jake throws a pick, Skins take it to the 2, Skins score on 1st play, 17-2. 2 TD drives of a total of about 8 yards.
  2. And let me be the first to wish Michigan all the luck in the world as they attempt to move to .500 all-time against Division I-AA opponents.

  4. Anderson having himslef a day 0/6, but Cleveland playing well on the ground and on D for the first time all year.
  5. Safety! Yes!
  6. Carolina scores on a 4th down but because of the 'no forward fumbles on 4th down' rule, the TD is wiped off the board. I'm running out of superlatives to describe how stupidly bad we are.
  7. Bama jumps to No. 2 as they should. And Notre Dame gains 66 votes without playing after losing 32 on a 3-game winning streak. Most likely cause: The media wanting a game between two ranked teams next week. 1 Florida (50) 5-0 1490 2 Alabama (10) 6-0 1430 3 Texas 5-0 1395 4 Virginia Tech 5-1 1283 5 Boise State 5-0 1199 6 USC 4-1 1161 7 Ohio State 5-1 1048 8 Cincinnati 5-0 1038 9 Miami (FL) 4-1 970 10 LSU 5-1 947 11 Iowa 6-0 919 12 TCU 5-0 917 13 Oregon 5-1 776 14 Penn State 5-1 597 15 Nebraska 4-1 576 16 Oklahoma State 4-1 559 17 Kansas 5-0 551 18 Brigham Young 5-1 490 19 Georgia Tech 5-1 453 20 Oklahoma 3-2 432 21 South Florida 5-0 330 22 South Carolina 5-1 319 23 Houston 4-1 192 24 Utah 4-1 76 25 Notre Dame 4-1 75
  8. Fumble it to the Skins on first play. I long for the bye week when I didn't have to think about this team.
  9. I wish Rich had gotten pissy with Forcier and put Denard Robinson in against us. Michigan's collapse would've begun much sooner.
  10. He does. People cheat up on the line to stop the run and all the receivers get one on one coverage. In the LSU game he had a wide open receiver in the end zone and under threw him by five to ten yards for a pick. I wish bradford had his receivers, he would throw for 500 a game His only TD (the only TD of the game) came when Florida's wideout got away with a pretty blatant jersey grab of the LSU DB. I saw at least one or two other passes of decent length to wide-open receivers. Tebow throws the deep ball just as well as JaMarcus Russell, i.e. to wide open receivers who have beaten their man by 3 steps.
  11. I'm pretty sure I agree, only because the Big Ten looks like a giant cluster-eff of four or five decent but not great teams at the top so it'd be only fitting that it be decided like that.
  12. i suspect that texas will drop to #3 in at least one of the polls. colorado is terrible while ole miss is at least decent, and alabama also has a pretty convincing win over va tech. If I had a poll vote Bama would be #1. They've played some decent teams so far and clobbered everybody.
  13. So the Heisman race is effectively over assuming Florida doesn't blow this. I wish I rooted for a team whose receivers got as wide freaking open as consistently as Florida's. Geez.
  14. That is one of the worst passes I have ever seen by Cody Hawkins.
  15. White rally towels in St. Louis. No further comment.
  16. BSU lost 24-19 to extend their losing streak to eight and Stan Parrish's personal nonwinning streak is approaching 40. Second 0-6 start in school history.
  17. I was completely expecting the Big Ten replay official to hose Wisconsin and say he stepped out before the 1st down marker. Looks like we got a ballgame in Columbus.
  18. Ball State just recovered a botched snap in the Temple endzone for a TD to go ahead 14-10. Maybe the Cards can avoid the 12-0 to 0-12 turnaround after all.
  19. No Versus? I'm down in Missouri and for some unknown reason it doesn't come with my gf's cable package. Not thrilled with that at all. You're at your girlfriend's place watching football and hanging out online? Yes. She's working on a book for her graphic design class. Plus Saturday is always football day, no matter what. I endorse this. I'm about to be in the same position.
  20. No Versus?
  21. Tebow's going to play, per the Gainesville Sun.
  22. Boy, the Purdue/Illinois game is just going to be a barrel of laughs.
  23. Might be time for Oklahoma State to leave the poll. Their Georgia win looks less and less impressive every week and now they're losing to A&M, who's really not good at all.
  24. What's the record for missed PATs in a row?
  25. Mark Buehrle is from St. Louis. Seems like he's a perfect fit there.
