  2. FWIW, I saw a projection that had them 6 in the BCS. That's what they are at. Behind Boise and Cincy, who I think they'll jump if they keep winning. If they win out they need help to jump one of the big three. Are the rankings out? Where'd you see them?
  3. If by not too bad, you mean really damn good I agree. When the Panthers traded up to get Jeff Otah last year I thought they were getting Flacco at first and got really excited. He is really good.
  4. FWIW, I saw a projection that had them 6 in the BCS.
  5. Panthers win 28-21 after a 16-play (one pass) drive bleeds the clock to almost nothing before scoring. One more crappy team left in October to hopefully go back to .500.
  6. Anderson throws the game-sealing pick in Pittsburgh, then shoves a Steeler for no apparent reason. Good guy, that Anderson.
  7. Stewart dominating this drive. If Jake had just turned around and handed the ball off more this game we'd be blowing the Bucs out.
  8. Jake Delhomme is the worst QB in the NFL. Others may put up worse numbers, but only Jake has the constant pick-6 guillotine hanging over his fans' heads.
  9. I can't decide if I'm more pissed at him or at the Giants' defense for bombing so badly that I will probably get negative points from them. (And I looked for another D to play this week, there wasn't anyone worth crap available.)
  10. Jake just threw a pick. We're 30 yards away from a tie game.
  11. Tampa takes the kickoff back. That's how bad teams lose.
  12. It's Tampa, so take it with the salt necessary, but Williams and Stewart are starting to get back into a groove. Stewart just reeled off a 26-yard scoring run to give the Panthers a 21-7 lead.
  13. Carolina picks off Josh Johnson to open the 3rd, convert a 4th and 1 from the 3 and score to go up 14-7.
  14. Giants get a big stop there at the end of the half. ETA: And they screw that up.
  15. The latter, but Bama has been better than Florida this year and it's really not that close to this point.
  16. The Browns don't deserve a player as good as Cribbs. He's awesome.
  17. They've tried twice but Jake misfired. jake sucks. Thanks, I didn't already know that.
  18. Uh, so the Saints are pretty good.
  19. Jonathan Stewart gives it back at the 2.
  20. Panthers recover a fumble in Tampa territory!
  21. They've tried twice but Jake misfired.
  22. Browns have apparently decided to go with Josh Cribbs at QB because Anderson's been on the bench an entire drive. Cribbs throws a pick because he's not a QB. The Browns are stupid.
  23. Allow me to rephrase. If we win and the pollsters deem it lopsided enough to not take votes away, ND will be back in the polls. if ball state wins there's no way they'd be ranked. What on Earth are you talking about?
  24. Allow me to rephrase. If we win and the pollsters deem it lopsided enough to not take votes away, ND will be back in the polls.
  25. 1 Alabama (39) 7-0 1447 2 Florida (20) 6-0 1434 3 Texas 6-0 1365 4 USC 5-1 1213 5 Cincinnati 6-0 1163 6 Boise State 6-0 1156 7 Iowa 7-0 1092 8 Miami (FL) 5-1 1056 9 LSU 5-1 1014 10 TCU 6-0 1001 11 Georgia Tech 6-1 861 12 Oregon 5-1 849 13 Penn State 6-1 753 14 Oklahoma State 5-1 690 15 Virginia Tech 5-2 684 16 Brigham Young 6-1 601 17 Houston 5-1 478 18 Ohio State 5-2 373 19 Utah 5-1 350 20 Pittsburgh 6-1 330 21 Texas Tech 5-2 286 22 West Virginia 5-1 205 23 South Carolina 5-2 159 24 Kansas 5-1 120 25 Oklahoma 3-3 117 ND dropped one spot to 26 and will be back in the polls next week if they win because Kansas and Oklahoma play each other. The first BCS rankings come out around 4 pm so I'll use those for next week's thread.
