$14 million for the Big East if Pitt makes a BCS bowl. Don't embarrass yourself like this. chop block call didn't seem questionable. but really bad officiating (not just against nd, but in many games) + clear incentive for the conferences (that pay the officials) doesn't make you raise an eyebrow? The best part was that he said "the ruling on the field is a fumble", as if they hadn't waved their arms incomplete a hundred times prior to the review. What happened there was either incompetence or corruption and either way it needs to be addressed. And in case it needs reiteration, we would have lost anyway and I care a lot less about that than I do about the pattern and its needing to be stopped.
$14 million for the Big East if Pitt makes a BCS bowl. Don't embarrass yourself like this. Look, we shouldn't win either way and since it was gonna be 4th and 16, probably wouldn't have anyway. But there's a huge pattern this season with hideous review decisions.
2nd week in a row they've reviewed a dead ball situation and turned it into a fumble even though there's no precedent for that being allowed. I really don't care because we don't deserve to win, but that's [expletive].
They already called a chop block, which I never see called on anyone else, to submarine the drive, so now they're going to try and call a fumble here on Jimmy, when there's no way the ball could have had a fumble to make the ball go that way.
So Michigan isn't going to a bowl, USC is racing to give up 50 to every Pac-10 team in sight, and Navy needed til late in the 3rd to pull away from FCS Delaware. And we lost to all of them, 2 at home. Thanks, Charlie.
