The Big 12 stands to gain $14+ million by KSU making the title game and the officials refereeing the game are employed by the Big 12. There's an obvious conflict of interest even if nothing shady is happening.

I thank aTm for what they did. People on these boards REALLY love Kansas State! I guess it's payback for 1998, eh? But Manziel better win the Heisman. The only thing Klein has on him is 10-0 vs 8-2. I like Manziel, but he threw three picks and was a big part of losing the LSU game. He shouldn't win the Heisman over Klein at this juncture.

What a terrible football conference. That's not really that good of a basketball conference either. Boise and SDSU aren't joining in basketball. Marquette, Georgetown, St. John's and the other basketball-only Big East schools will probably keep that league at least reasonably competitive in hoops.

It has reached the point where I am legitimately looking forward to seeing how many points Tampa Bay can run up on our defense. They've been playing some really great offensive games of late. Notre Dame is 2 wins away from potentially being the first team in college football history to get shut out of the title picture for not going unbeaten against an objectively superior schedule impressively enough. You act as if this should just be accepted fact rather than debated.

He doesn't take a stance either way on ND v. KSU (he shouldn't), but Dan Wetzel with another great rip job of the BCS. Most damningly and sadly true is the fact that if ND hadn't lost to Florida State in the Champs Sports Bowl last December, they'd be #2 right now, which is ludicrous no matter which side you're on.

This happens every year. They cannibalize each other so evenly that it all works out for them. The apparent absence of any other really good second-tier teams helps too.
