    That's what they always say at this point in the injury process. Sometimes it's true, but the fact that they said it doesn't really change anything for me. I stopped trusting what the Cubs said about injuries after Bill Mueller, honestly.

    Esposito sang the stretch in the 2008 game where the Cubs rallied from 8 down to beat the Rockies, so there's that at least.

    Seemed pretty obvious to me he meant Rodriguez. Was vaguely hoping for Kiel to Ball State, but he should fare well at Cincy.

    Unrelated note: Today was day 2 of my seemingly sound "start free agent pitchers going against Houston" fantasy strategy. Oops. Something tells me if you stick to that strategy it still is going to pay off quite nicely for you Yep, me too.
