Bonifacio was once one of the better players for the South Bend Silver Hawks. Liked him because his name is fun to say. That's about all I've got. -
I hope it doesn't come out at some point hat Jeter was on PEDs. I have heard at least 3 different people talk about how he has been a light in a very dark period for MLB. I thought it odd that anyone would assume that any player is clean and make such a statement.It's certainly possible he's used, as it's possible just about anyone who's played MLB baseball has used, but he's had a pretty normal career track and there hasn't been even the slightest whisper of evidence against him. I think it's safe to say he's clean.

I'm fairly certain Brey is full of [expletive] considering the semester is 3-4 weeks old and Jackson wasn't even plain clothes on the bench and the game was at the JAC Yeah, internet speculation was that he was leaving ND. "Not registered for classes this semester" sounds like an academic issue. He might as well leave. Every other decent athlete at the school has either cheated or transferred in the last 12 months, why not him? This season [expletive] blows. Last night's game was like a root canal.

Looks like a lot of people said no when their numbers came up. I think we figured they went through something like 25,000 people last year(though that may have been expanding the base moreso than people not renewing. Wonder how many they gave the call to this year. you should call them and tell them that every chance to buy season tickets is sacred and then laugh and tell them maybe you'll give it a shot six years from now =D> =D> =D>

I just noticed that in the third sentence of Kluwe's article he himself refers to his statements/articles as 'activism', so there's that.

Aside from the fact that 'writing a few articles' would fall under the very definition of 'activism', I'm not sure why the use of the word rankles you. I've never heard of that word having a particularly negative connotation before. I could've subbed in 'being vocal in his views, which should be supported by anyone regardless of affiliation' but I didn't feel like typing all of that. Guess I'll know better next time.

I don't think Kluwe was blackballed from Minnesota for his activism (the new Vikings' punter posted almost as good a net average as Kluwe did in '12, for far less money, on a team that went nowhere anyway), but man, that Priefer has some major issues. What a nutjob.

No way. His only exceptional skill are his legs and his elusiveness, and with his frame that is going to get him killed in the NFL. The only comparison of a running QB close to that size in the league is Vick, and he's never stayed healthy. Plus he's way too reckless with the ball and throws tons of 50/50 balls that Evans pulled down. I don't see it. one difference (in my book anyway.) vick was a runner. He took running back hits. Manziel is a scrambler, he doesn't really take hits. He's just elusive and is able to make something out of nothing. Obviously those 40 yard runs are not going to happen in the nfl, but his entire running style is built on avoiding defenders. I think he'll be ok with ducking down and letting a 40-yard college run turn into a 12-yard nfl run. Cam Newton has from day one proven adept at picking up yards on the ground without ever really taking a hit. If he can do it, I'm sure Manziel can.

I would think a guy who can turn Matt [expletive] McGloin into an NFL starting quarterback wouldn't care too much who he was working with. I'm not sure I'd take Clowney #1 though. People making a lot more money than me are tasked with figuring out what to make of his 2013.

No one cares about 90% of these bowls nowadays. Way too many. Bowl season should be better starting next year with the retooled tie-ins and the increased flexibility to provide good matchups.
