Problem with that logic is PCA hit the ball and India is not a stupid moron, which you would've had to be to attempt to go to first on that particular ball when hit by a fast guy like PCA
I sincerely hope the Cubs were not stupid enough to believe some manager voodoo is why the Brewers kicked their ass for the better part of a decade but the contract suggests they did
In a tournament where the top 4 seeds are very unlikely to be the best 4 teams (because only conference champs get them), reseeding doesn't make much sense.
He rounded third by about 15 feet on a slow ground ball single up the middle by PCA that only a brain dead squirrel would've thrown to first on (and therefore only a brain dead squirrel would've danced around in hopes of scoring on) and India made the easiest assist of his life to get him
We have reached the point where I legitimately think Ian Happ might sue Major League Baseball for slicing the amount of games the Cubs play against the Reds and Pirates
Honestly they've kicked our ass since the late stages of 2018. Were it not for a crazy collapse in the 2019 wild-card game to the eventual world champs, maybe they'd already have a title out of this run they're on.
What percent of our runs in the last few weeks are the direct result of the other team horsefeathers something up badly? It's got to be as high as any such stretch ever.
Good for Vasquez though.
When the post sell off team was getting crushed over and over again at least they were likable in a "this is what would happen if Little Leaguers tried to play in the bigs" way.
