    That stupid Pepsi commercial with the "one tribe, y'all" line over and over certainly stuck in my head more than any other. My favorite though has always been Sammy inviting you to visit the Dominican Republic.

    A max contract value of 8Y/35M seems awful low for a guy with an OPS north of .900 in AAA at age 22 (and he also put up one of nearly .900 in AA at age 20 before an off year last year). Surprised he'd take that.

    He's probably our most valuable non-player employee. And even including players he's gotta come in the top 10 Important? Sure. Valuable? What positive has he done since Ricketts took over? Well, we could play that game with everyone in this entire organization except for the moles who convinced Houston not to draft Bryant last June.

    I mostly agree with you, but this team underperforms their Pythag every single damn year, so I sympathize with people who are sick of hearing about Pythag.

    Yeah, but you offset that by how many games they SHOULD have won. LOL Going forward, barring trades and injuries, the Cubs are much more likely to play to their .471 pythag than that .373 actual. That's a fact. But whatever, have fun doing that stuff I guess. 2/3 or more of this team is pretty much here to be traded on the off chance they're any good for a couple of months. Why even post 'barring trades' knowing that?

    It would be absurd whenever the Bulls and Blackhawks were both in the playoffs at the same time, but I imagine pretty doable otherwise. MASN has both the Nats and Orioles and seems to manage.

    There's absolutely no way both are getting traded. I'd be surprised if either is, unless it's for Stanton. Which is what we're talking about, dingus! Haha indeed. But there's no way Theo is coming off both. Bryant is basically doing what Stanton did in AA (albeit a year older while he's doing it), so I have to think Theo and Jed view him as virtually untouchable right now.

    I always thought that girl was so sexy, even with her early 90's hairdo. Her smile in the scene where she makes the hockey goal is hot. and then she lost 30 pounds Pretty much every hot actress seems to have that problem. Whoever's telling those women to lose weight needs to be sat down and explained some things.

    Can't move forward with any more renovations until we get some of the revenue from the extra couple dozen seats down there. I know you're making a joke, but while that may have been in mind at some point in the future, I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the plans yet about any seating expansion there. I honestly thought that was part of the plan. Shows how much I know.

    That's a terrible comparison/analogy. It's sarcasm. Fear of boos is a stupid reason to do anything, and if that has anything to do with the Ricketts' reasoning, it's ridiculous.

    Yovani Gallardo had a game-winning hit in extras last night. He's the first SP to get a game-winning hit in extras since Glendon Rusch in 2003, oddly also with Milwaukee.

    Seems they've been that way for a while now. Their lineup has been Posey, Sandoval, and the seven dwarves every year since 2010. OPS+ since 2012: pagan: 121 pence: 121 belt: 133 It feels like that Muppet has been torturing the Cubs (and my nightmares) my entire life.
