I don't want to give up Baez in this trade, either, mind you...but you think Tyson Ross is an "average end of the rotation pitcher?" what kind of control would we have over Ross? What's his contract like? I honestly don't know. And I'm on my phone at a boring law conference, so I don't want to screw around on Google trying to find out. I'm sure you know, so tell me. Years of cheap control over Baez isn't something I want to give up lightly. Ross is controllable through 2018.
