  1. I don't know that I've ever been in a hotel that got the RSN, although I don't always look.
  2. Castro can actually make contact and get a fluke hit or two, pitchers know exactly how to pitch Soler if they need a strikeout
  3. Not any serious talk, and the playoffs really can't expand any more or the World Series will be getting played in mid-November.
  4. Boston has made a lot of prospect for MLB star trades since Theo first took over as GM. Including one involving a guy named Anthony Rizzo you may have heard of.
  5. It sucks to score a fair amount of runs in games we lose
  6. Can we hit some of those? If their [expletive] pitcher can hit one...
  7. Damn. If the throw were just a tiny bit better Kinsler would've been toast.
  8. Stephen Piscotty almost homered in his first at bat then homered in his 2nd. I wonder how many of their players would have to get hurt before their replacements didn't immediately produce
  9. The last couple of times we've run into a 'ace needs to be a stopper' type of game, Lester has come up big. Confident he'll do so again.
  10. That was a lot of staying up late for very little. 3 back of Pittsburgh. Sigh
  11. I know Cabrera is scary but pitching around him to face a 30 home run hitter isn't my favorite plan
  12. We cannot [expletive] lose on this ridiculous perfect bunt crap
  13. Our pen is better than theirs. We have a good shot
  14. Having Rizzo on our team is a luxury. I haven't felt so calm about a Cub hitter in big spots in a long, long time. (Schwarber is in this category too, obvi)
  15. I'm sure there has been another player like Bryant whose only real weakness at the plate was an inexplicable inability to consistently make contact on hittable pitches, but I don't know of one.
  16. Ummm, Harper is the best player in the game this year. Might want to calm down there
  17. Russell hit the [expletive] out of that ball, really wish Denorfia hadn't GIDP'd
  18. Detroit hasn't had a good bullpen in forever, it'd be sweet if we could get a runner on base against them
  19. Russell is so good that I just assumed he'd catch that one off the bat
