  1. Teagarden indeed DFA'd for Richard
  2. Early, but Pirates and Giants both down
  3. I still don't know what happened to him.
  4. I couldn't possibly be a bigger fan of how Russell is coming along. Thanks again Billy
  5. I'm about done with Jungmann getting hits.
  6. It's sad that my standards for Castro are so low that I was fired up to see him not hit that ball hard enough for a DP
  7. Muskat says 'expect Richard to start Sunday'. Why wouldn't we just start Wood and try to patchwork that game rather than try this [expletive] again?
  8. Now that we have no good option for Sunday, we could really use this game, but Hammel worries me of late. I'm benching him in fantasy, hoping for the reverse jinx.
  9. Heyman saying that the Yankees offered Jorge Mateo AND taking Gyorko's contract AND eating most of it for Kimbrel. Preller really is [expletive] crazy
  10. Don't really get the Coghlan batting 3rd thing. Doesn't matter a ton but it flies in the face of Joe's R/L/R/L preference
  11. Detroit didn't have the option of a qualifying offer for Cespedes, so Wheeler would've been a big overpay.
  12. No pressure, Javy, you just have to come up and quickly show why we didn't want to trade you or Cubs Twitter will turn on you but good
  13. With most other GMs I'd just assume he didn't get what he wanted and is justifying it with a CYA quote, but this guy might actually believe it.
  14. Hunter's numbers don't exactly scream big pickup. He's better than Soriano and maybe Motte too, I guess.
  15. Sigh. After all this Ross and Carrasco talk, it's a real kick in the nuts if nothing happened.
  16. He was really really good last year. Might be worth seeing if we can Edmonds him. Eh, maybe. Without doing any research at all, it feels like middle infielders don't tend to get it back once they lose it. Although Utley's peripherals aren't spectacularly different than last year. So who knows.
