  1. I don't care that much if NE cheats (all 122 pro franchises almost assuredly are trying to cheat in some way) but if one keeps getting caught more than the others, the Boston homer types crying witch hunt and sour grapes really, really get old.
  2. No, wild card is always the #4 seed
  3. Not the Pierre game though, that was 06 (also scored 16 then)
  4. In Anaheim Opening Day will be interesting. That means either a 4 pm or 10 pm start, neither of which we see a lot of on Opening Day. Think we've opened in daytime every day since...maybe 2005 when we opened at Arizona?
  5. 2 if you don't count the West winner, which unless Wisconsin gets a lot better you probably shouldn't
  6. The Baseball's Best Fans Twitter account is hysterical when things actually go wrong for them. Post after post of fans [expletive] on players with ridiculously good season-long numbers, especially when Lance Lynn pitches.
  7. IF ? Sure, technically the game isn't over yet so the odds aren't calculated yet. CUBS are 26-0 (1.000) when they lead by 2 runs or more at the end of the 6th inning.... 52-57 (.477) when they don't Technically, my ass. This game is over !! Go CUBS !! This is a few pages back but I [expletive] love that statistic. Wow.
  8. I've been rooting for Pittsburgh for over a week. Embrace the dark side.
  9. This is a perfect day for a strike thrower to eat some innings. With Hendricks tomorrow there's a chance we'll have to cash those in soon.
  10. The little [expletive] who hit the game winner off of Strop earlier this season
  11. James Conner and Tarean Folston done for the year as well. Brutal day for injuries
  12. I really wish Pittsburgh was beating Cincinnati. If we can't catch STL maybe they can
  13. It's certainly not what I would prefer, but the way we're donging there's a chance we can overcome that with some luck.
  14. We didn't "need" anything from them. Let's kick their ass and send the message that October will be more of the same.
  15. It's going to be really hard for me to remain cynical about ND if they keep doing things like this. (Also, holy cow, Texas is bad.)
  16. That 1st throw he made was a wow even though it was dropped. Looked outstanding from what I saw later too. Looks like you have yourself quite a find.
  17. That Stanford performance was puketastic. Northwestern certainly deserves credit for putting Stanford in position to gutless-weenie themselves out of the game, and that's exactly what David Shaw did.
  18. Well it's not like he backed out of a home and home with a team like, oh, Michigan State, to continue to play so called neutral games. Wait never mind that's exactly what happened
  19. Perfect day for us if the Giants do indeed lose.
  20. Let's see Arrieta get the Vander Meer
  21. PJ Fleck's shtick is "Row the Boat". It's been all over their jerseys and gear ever since he arrived.
  22. SMU really fudged up that last possession, though. Gotta think that will loom large. Either way, though, Chad Morris looks like a home run hire early for the Mustangs.
