  1. Clemson, Bama, OU if they win next week at 3, whoever wins the Big Ten if it's unbeaten Iowa or a 1 loss OSU/MSU at 4, ND 5.
  2. ND is out unless Oklahoma or Iowa lose next week. This is a pathetic performance.
  3. ND has been playing 1 home game a year at some other place for 6 years. Did same thing with Maryland at FedEx 4 years ago
  4. No undefeated Power 5 team is getting left out.
  5. Suddenly I'm starting to wish ND had played MSU this year. Damn you, Oregon series
  6. Unless I'm mistaken, waving to tell teammates to stay away is equivalent to a fair catch signal. I've seen that rule enforced before
  7. Charleston Southern is a top 10 team in FCS and SEC Network is gonna make sure you know about it https://twitter.com/JasonKirkSBN/status/668176299513487360?s=09
  8. 2 blatant PIs in the end zone that I'm sure the referees employed by the SEC just happened to not see helped.
  9. Overtime for Florida vs FAU. Last 2 weeks they barely escaped Vanderbilt and looked bad in a win over South Carolina. Who, just FYI, lost to The Citadel today.
  10. If they weren't turning it over repeatedly FAU is probably up right now
  11. Glad I'm not the only one who thought it was me-me. I remember my wife laughing when I first used the word around her and correcting me.
  12. Cubs' Opening Day game will be at 10 p.m. ET per that announcement and will air on ESPN2 in addition to locally. I'm a meh on that announcement. I always liked that almost everyone started on Opening Day, but it will be cool to have baseball back a day early.
  13. Pretty [expletive] sweet sequence by Jimmy Butler here down the stretch.
  14. Honestly. You'd think fans of a franchise that has won 2 titles in the last decade and makes the playoffs every single damn year would have the ability to put things like a largely meaningless award into perspective.
  15. I wanted to throw a brick through my TV as they kept talking about "how a team is playing now" So if Bama lost their first 5 games, who cares, look at how much they beat a decent Miss St. team by!! I'm not remotely convinced Mississippi State is decent. They've beaten exactly nobody. Frankly I think outside of Alabama the SEC West isn't that good at all. The division's collective best win besides each other is mediocre Wisconsin.
  16. I suspect TCU is about to plummet anyway. Oklahoma might just rout them.
  17. I think they're both freelancers as far as GQ is concerned.
  18. i thought Rodgers looked OK but i'm guessing Davante Adams had money on the Lions; that might have been the most comprehensively terrible WR performance i can recall what was it, 64 yards on 18 targets and a flat-out drop of the 2-point conversion to force OT? edit: 79 yards on 21 targets; putrid. To be fair to Adams, I watched that play and the Lions DB got a hand on the ball. Still could've been caught but it was a great defensive effort as much as anything else.
  19. I think A&M sucks out loud and Mississippi State has yet to beat anyone worth a [expletive], but you're probably right. LSU probably wouldn't fall out of the rankings if they lost, if I'm being honest.
  20. If Ole Miss and Northwestern can manage wins, Alabama will have 0 wins over ranked teams this season.

  22. Because the committee doesn't give a [expletive] about quality of loss (see 2014 Ohio State; I don't think the way ND lost is really a factor in their current ranking no matter what they say). And conference championships is a written criterion in the committee rules - Oklahoma would have one if they win out.
  23. ND is in at 11-1 if Oklahoma and Oklahoma State lose sometime in the next 2 weeks, or if Michigan wins out. If OU wins out I get worried. (I have to root for Michigan, what the hell is this)
  24. Not before the Pac 12 refs desperately tried to help with a ridiculous PI call on Oregon. ND's SOS going down in flames today. I'm going to be cursing those [expletive] drops and fumbles at Clemson forever.
  25. I didn't think it was in doubt.
