We won the opener in 2012, I think, Samardzija had a great game -
Grimm is good but he's, unlike Jake, human
-
Zobrist the lone turd in the punch bowl
-
Awesome read by Fowler
-
It'll be July and I'll still be giggling at these posts
-
You could argue the least if Russell beefs up his slugging a bit
-
Montero knocked the horsefeathers out of that one and he's got the 2nd least power in our current lineup
-
Jake is rolling
-
Zobrist not exactly lighting the world on fire
-
Thank goodness Villanova won, holy hell that was incredible
-
A pretty darn good pitch though
-
You say this like walking opposing pitchers to death is a bad thing. Oh, I assure you that wasn't the intent. This is awesome
-
This lineup is dongerrific but we're going to see a lot of innings like this one too
-
ZOBRIST IS THE GREATEST SIGNING EVER
-
Theo can never sign a multi year free agent again
-
It's just hilarious watching stud after stud come up and we didn't even bat Schwarber or Soler in that inning
-
BENCH ZOBRIST
-
Plus if you have any kind of pay TV you get the game tonight anyway with the Extra Innings free preview
-
I could be (probably am) wrong, but I don't think the ESPN blackouts are a thing on Opening Day.

Just on a completely personal preference, it wasn't even my favorite of the postseason from him. The one that took the WC game from 1-0 to 3-0 was just as majestic and gorgeously violent, and it completely demoralized the opponents in double elimination game. I lean this way, too - putting one in the river off Cole was an absolute statement dong.
-
That lineup is just so horsefeathering beautiful
-
There's a free preview of Extra Innings this week, so if you have pay TV of some sort, you can go to Len and JD (this is my plan)
-
One of my random favorites - don't think there's video anywhere - is the Aramislam against Philly in August 08 just because that team had demonstrated themselves to be so horsefeathering awesome by that point that I just knew he was going to go yard and he did

No clear one jumped out to me this time, but then again I think I'm one of the guys who forgot Jose Abreu 2 years ago -
Where was Hot Doug's last year? I was in the bleachers a few times and didn't see it (also didn't look very hard)
