  1. The 30 seconds button is a godsend. I generally go 8x on that then just jump back when I see the show is back
  2. I didn't even realize this, but this was actually true in 2 different leagues heading into this week, although it wasn't a 'far and away' situation in both.
  3. 4. 27-7 Panthers at the half and GB is lucky it isn't 34-7. What in the world is going on
  5. Yes, and no. I still had to manually alter a quote yesterday to post it right. Otherwise, it's a much-improved update though. Looks like quoting works.
  6. I don't think it will happen, but Utah is lurking. If they win out I don't see how they get left out.
  7. I think Michigan beats Ohio State. That would likely open up a playoff spot, so that'd be cool with me.
  8. And if Alabama were to lose, it'd be the same thing. They would have ZERO wins over ranked teams provided A&M loses. The loser of this game should be out either way
  9. I don't even mind if Alabama or some other SEC team gets in. But LSU has one win over a ranked team and probably won't get another since A&M is currently getting pantsed by Auburn. I don't want them hanging around closely enough to convince some mouth breathers that they should be in anyway.
  10. If Alabama is going to do this, they'd better just kick LSU's ass. If they screw around and let LSU lose close so we hear about how LSU deserves to be in the playoff with 1 good win on their resume, I'm going to lose it
  11. It was sarcasm by SSR
  12. Really want Clemson to win. For ND's sake they need to either lose 0 times or 2, and they're not going to lose 2.
  13. McFadden
  14. Yet another jersey patch. Could do without it.
  15. I'm considering it stuff I remember, which is why there isn't more MJ on my list - I was 11 when he last played for the Bulls.
  16. For the Cubs, got to be the Sammy HR in game 1 of the NLCS. Schwarber's massive dongs from this year get on the list too. Soriano had a walk-off slam in 2009 against Houston that I saw in person, so I have to nod to that as well. Other sports: MJ's last sequence in the '98 Finals and GW shot in Game 1 of '97 Finals Everett Golson's 3 straight improv plays to tie game against Pitt in '12 with 2 minutes left to preserve unbeaten regular season ('I was there' bias) Tom Zbikowski punt return for TD to give ND lead in Bush Push game ('I was there' bias) Jerian Grant's 12 points in 28 seconds to tie game vs Louisville in '13 Everything in the ND/Kentucky Elite 8 game in March up to the last couple of minutes. I'm still not over that one. Might never be. Steve Smith 2OT winning TD in '03 divisional playoff game at St. Louis Steve Smith 2 long-bomb TDs in '05 divisional playoff at Chicago (sorry)
  17. Alabama is evidently getting credit for 3 "quality wins" over A&M, Wisconsin and Tennessee, who have combined to beat....? (notices ND is way higher than I thought and probably than they ought to be) These guys are geniuses!
  18. The Browns and Broncos apparently tried to beat the deadline with a Joe Thomas + 4th rounder for a 1st + 2nd (I think, might have been 1st or 2nd) rounder, but were unable to.
  19. The Nationals deserve every bit of bad fortune they get. Holy [expletive] lol
  20. I'm going to be far and away the highest scoring team in my 14 team league this year through 8 weeks (despite losing Charles and having to grab bag for running backs every week since), and I'm going to be 4-4. This is because I'm going to have faced nearly 1,000 points scored against me (standard scoring) at the end of the week.
  21. I really hope we are here soon.
  22. Really wish Green Bay would've picked a week other than right before they face Carolina to struggle. Next week's matchup will be very interesting.
  23. 24. What a wild day. It's always the weeks that don't look like much
  25. ESPN should have just dumped Grantland when they fired Simmons. Their half-ass attempt to keep it going as a small eff-you to him just makes them look even dumber.
