It just strikes me as #firstworldproblems complaining. People bitch up a storm that college football games aren't scheduled at the most convenient possible time, but don't care that the title game ends past midnight on a Monday, killing kids' ability to see the game. Not that I'm doing a "but think of the children!" thing, but the point is there was no perfect way to schedule those games, at least not once the SEC and Big 12 teamed up for their silly Sugar Bowl deal to lock in the NYD time slot.
