  1. Didn't strike me as a good reversal but totally don't care
  2. Without even looking I'm sure there was a Coghlan/Sweeney/Lake monstrosity somewhere in the 2014 season.
  3. I'm sorry but I'm lost...Are you trying to make a joke about how he looks like a serial killer or something? Honestly, you make some of the weirdest posts on here. They're funny sometimes (I guess)... In Sofa's defense, I saw his postgame interview last night and can totally get why anyone might get a serial-killer vibe from him. He's a robot.
  4. St. Louis still pisses me off about as much as they did before.
  5. They're expanding everything this year. Father's Day is 2 days, Memorial Day is 3 and the 4th is 4.
  6. I love when they decide to enforce that rule
  7. Bryant is out for tomorrow's game as well per Jesse Rogers
  8. About that. Nice pickup, Wade! :flythew:
  9. He was out. What a freaking throw by Candelario - surprised no challenge, though I guess it's early
  10. This has given the Cardinals a 2 1/2-game lead on the Cubs heading into Busch, and on Friday, they face a Triple-A pitcher in Eddie Butler, with Leake, their current ace. This is the first time in the new era of the Cubs-Cardinals rivalry, the world in which Chicago has a World Series championship (it still seems amazing to say that!) and St. Louis is trying to catch up, that the Cardinals have the upper hand. Good reasoning. To be fair, Leake inexplicably is pitching like an ace all of a sudden, or at least has an ERA like one
  11. It's about time Lackey's bat finally woke up
  12. Yeah that was an aggressively mediocre group. Winning game 1 in LA was nuts
  13. Sure, that's an accurate summation of my point. Good lord.
  14. The supporting cast nonsense should have been put to bed when LBJ took a starting lineup of himself, Ilgauskas, Drew Gooden, Boobie Gibson, and Sasha Pavlovic to the NBA Finals. It really should've been put to bed when he went 2-3 in the FInals with support from Timofey Mozgov, Tristan Thompson, Dellavedova, and Iman Shumpert. And then he and Kyrie Irving beat the best team in NBA history last year. But, oooh that jerk didn't want to play with Jamario Moon as his #2. Did you just see 'supporting cast' and ignore the rest of my post? I never said anything against anything that he did on the court.
  15. It's probably completely unfair given Jordan never had to really worry about his supporting cast (then again, of course no good player was going to come to Cleveland pre-Decision without assurances LeBron was going to stay), but LeBron essentially picking out the best situation for him for most of this decade seems like it should at least be a slight mark against him. To be honest though, I'm really tired of having GOAT debates in every sport. I'm starting to fall into the camp of let's just let great athletes be great without constantly having to calibrate our all-time lists.
  16. That was the best stands related catch I think I've ever seen a Cub make. Wow.
