  1. Every time I look up I see another pitch out of the zone called a strike
  2. We were down 3 in the 6th. I didn't see it either but it better have been really horsefeathering obvious for that clown show to think we'd hit anyone intentionally in such a situation.
  3. Matheny is so laughable. Wish we could've made them pay for that stupidity.
  4. It's crazy, I can only think of 3 Cubs playoff games out of the...47 that have happened since 1989 that have been weekday afternoonish. 1998 Game 1 against the Braves was early afternoon, 2008 Game 1 against the Dodgers I believe was very late afternoon, something like a 4 or 5 PM start, and then 2015 Game 4 against the Cardinals started sometime around 3:30 PM. We've been quite fortunate in that regard. 2015 Game 2 against STL was also during the day, albeit a Saturday.
  5. Schwarber Fan has been fired for dereliction of duty. I'm 9-2 this year, and I'd like win #10 to be the clincher please.
  6. I can't wait to watch Carolina get blasted to hell by New England and Detroit the next 2 weeks

  8. Lot of interesting stuff happened today. Georgia appears to be A) really good and B) quite possibly the only other team in the SEC besides Alabama that's any better than 'ok'. The playoff looks a lot like Alabama, Clemson, the Penn St/Ohio St winner, and probably Oklahoma right now. So I'm sure it will all blow up next week.
  9. [something very smart about launch angles goes here]
  10. Hearing Bryant got a clutch hit. Can anyone confirm?
  11. Carolina is 2-0, but Cam looks like ass and Olsen broke his foot. Pretty rough team to watch.

  13. That was one of the weirder ND games I can remember. One minute they're up 1 in the third and I'm ready for the wheels to completely come off and then seemingly moments later it's a blowout and the backups are in. I still don't feel good about MSU next week.
  14. Being picky, but GSU is in the Sun Belt. They haven't been FCS in a while.
  15. I'm a little late, here but Robot horsefeathering umpires. And I'm so glad Wilson is coming in to throw gasoline all over this game.
  16. I picked hockey but have no argument with baseball. Much harder in those 2 sports than the other 2 options.
  17. I understand the decision. Went ahead and registered even though I would be unlikely to be able to go even if I were picked. I imagine I could find someone to take them under such circumstances.
  18. It's very similar to Pam Ward of crappy noon ESPN2 college football games past, although Mowins is much better at her job.
  19. I wonder why he got rid of it. I didn't even realize he had until this lineup was posted, although he rarely used it anyway.
  20. The 6 games as opposed to 4 is likely due to Inter-league rotation being AL Central v. NL Central. I've not looked at other teams that have these protected rallies to test that theory though. That's exactly what it is. Since Houston went to the NL, the crosstown series has only been 3 games in Central vs. Central years.
  21. FIU/IU and GA Tech/UCF canceled because of Irma. UCF down to a 10 game schedule.
  22. 23. The wrath of Irma continues as the ACC announced that FSU vs Miami next week is moving to October 7, a mutual off day.
