    Can I use this in my script for the ending of Major League 3? Sure but there already was a Major League 3 I think I remember reading at one point that they were considering making a Major League 3 that was going to completely ignore the Back to the Minors movie.

    Might be an unpopular opinion and definitely a biased one, but I don't like parks where you can 'steal' homers. It's a homer or it's not.

    Heyward really looked good that AB even before the double. Fouled two pitches straight back.

    Is that actually JD I thought some one was filling in for him or something. Len said it was. I was sure that was someone different. Although now that I think about it they'd probably stick Glanville in there if JD was out.

    Meadows' ball was like a foot from being a double play and instead we're down 1-0.

    The old 'send the runner on 1st to draw a throw and hope the guy on 3rd can steal home' thing.

    Eh, Javy was just going to strike out any way so why not take a chance? Dude is just swinging at whatever is being thrown right now. The chances of Javy, even at his worst, managing to find the ball and bloop it into the outfield are far better than that play working with La Stella running home.

    Stealing-home plays don't work when Javy isn't doing it, guys

    I wasn't optimistic either, but that was basically the rule-book definition of blocking the plate, so it's probably a good thing for catchers at large that they did call it - otherwise runners may as well run them over.

    Routine fly ball falls in for 2 bases and catcher's interference - this is gonna be a weird game.

    This lineup made a lot more sense when I thought Pivetta was left-handed.

    Ahh yes, I was at that game. I think the win briefly pulled us into 1st place with the Astros. I was there too. IIRC we needed to win to maintain a first-place tie. Great night and the best game I'd ever seen until the Brian Matusz game in 16.

    I could never forget about that game. That was the day the 08 team reached Final Boss level for me because I just knew Aramis was gonna come through and he did. BTW, the day the 16 team reached Final Boss level was a little earlier - Javy's walk-off on Mother's Day, when I was just waiting for us to win; never for a second thought we were losing that day.
