Again, I can't remember who it was but I remember reading something a few weeks ago that it is worse, in fact it was approaching a historically high variance between their hot and cold streaks. I tend not to get too worried about how things look in June, and I'm really not all that worried that much overall, but that particular thing does concern me a bit. Even if it's true, I don't really know that I'd agree with it being 'concerning'. Over 162 games, even if they (continue) play(ing) super hot/cold...it should balance out enough for our true talent level to win us the division. Once October starts, isn't it usually a matter of what team gets hot? There is, granted, a ton of time between now and October, but the playoffs are ideally 3-plus weeks long and it would not bode well for us to win if the wacky up-and-down play were going on then.
