    It's so weird, Wilbon always points out deGrom is great, decries the Mets not scoring more runs for him, then in a roundabout way blames deGrom for that because of his W/L record. It's like he's so close to getting it but there's a mental block he can't get past.

    Granted, they added JD Martinez, so that's helped, but Boston 2017 to Boston 2018 would show that a hitting coach does matter that much.

    I sorta wish we'd mothball Contreras for a couple days and ride Caratini while he's swinging the bat well.

    Head to head results, I guess? If that were tied, I don't know what the next move would be - but then, since most inter-division matchups are 6 games per season, if one weren't completed, odds are someone would have the H2H edge.
