    We should probably accept that this is the beginning of the rebuild. Theo is here through 2021 anyway and he's good at those.

    Why was PECOTA so optimistic about this bunch?

    Hamels clearly and obviously ended the 4th inning with a strikeout that Boyd/Hoye decided not to give him, and while that doesn't give him a free pass for the slam, he was on his way to a really good start that got derailed for reasons beyond his control, so I'm not super worried about him. We have a decent 1-4 and a black hole at #5, which isn't uncommon for a good team. I'm with IMB on the 'give us a horsefeathering bullpen' train
