    It doesn't seem like a coaching issue. For one thing, we've changed pitching coaches since last year, and for another, no one else on the staff seems to be consistently having this problem except Edwards (whose issues go back to when Bosio was pitching coach); even Chatwood has been a little better in that department.

    uhhhhhh with his record with women?? I clearly haven't been paying attention. I didn't realize there was any issue with him and women, specifically. He was briefly accused of sexual assault at one point as a Cub but no charges were ever filed. This was before the #MeToo stuff started blowing up, so it slipped through the cracks a little bit.

    Meanwhile, the Cubs have already had 7 of their 19 scheduled off days this year while the Brewers have only had 3 of their 20 so far. So the Cubs have 12 more off days while the Brewers have 17. What about the Cardinals?By my quick count STL has had 4 off days.

    I actually wouldn't hate that if we had a full complement of relievers. As it is, we don't, so I kind of hate that.

    Yeah, I was taught this game when I first started waiting tables and that's exactly what it was.

    I haven't had any issues with it. What are you experiencing? Mlb.tv is weird. I have two Sony wifi tvs and it works beautifully on the one but not on the other. My ps4 runs it great but my ps3 doesnt. My ipad runs it well but my iphone does not. Some of those systems show the commercial breaks, some of them don’t. MLB.TV isn't even supported on PS3 anymore. I used to not get the breaks very often, but last season I started getting them all the time.

[tweet] [/tweet] That being said, it sounds like Joe Maddon believes whatever's going on may have affected Ben's play, so just because she did that IG stuff earlier this year doesn't mean this issue, whatever it is, just started recently.

    The good times kept rolling last night - after a quick sidetrack for a couple of unnecessary innings - and the Cubs are on the attack again. Last time Yu Darvish faced Miami he was the man we all wanted him to be. Can he do it again? If he can, we'll really have something here. Go CUBS !

    So on a night where hardly anyone out of the pen is available, Joe needlessly manages us into extra innings so everyone will have to pitch. Great.
