  1. Yeah, if he's really willing to do that there's no reason at all not to.
  2. Gee, I'm stunned, all indications up to this point had them being an upstanding and virtuous organization.
  3. This has been one of the best regular season weeks in the NFL in a very long time. Lots of great, well-played games.
  4. I happened to stumble on this today and my wife has wanted a Cubs zip hoodie for some time. It was part of the sale, so that's one Christmas present checked off.
  5. That's right! IU is ranked for the first time since 1994. It was far and away the longest drought in the Power 5, and it's over.

  7. Considering the circumstances that have come together to backdoor Bama into the BCS title game/playoff this decade, I'm not gonna believe they're out until they announce the field. They SHOULD be out barring help, but we know how the committee loves their eye test.
  8. Chase Young sitting out this week for Ohio State for, in his words, accepting a loan from someone he claims was a family friend in 2018.
  9. Ross means business, kicking out former teammates from his staff. Just one of the many teammates who hated his ass /GRCubsFan
  10. Just make sure Young doesn't come near Derrek Lee.
  11. I just read it and Ricketts' quotes just piss me off more and more every time I see them. He's openly talking about not wanting any more 'windows' and that the Cubs have the financial resources to compete constantly, while also openly saying they're not going to sign good players in free agency. That's literally the only horsefeathering thing a financial advantage matters for, you clown.
  12. Well, that seemingly makes her a lock to join Marquee, right? She seems very well-liked so there'd be no reason not to bring her in.
  13. As was Brandon Morrow's. Enjoy your extra $3M, Brandon.

  15. Unlikely. They said they are going to basically figure out how they're going to do this in some undetermined time frame but not later than January 2021. So maybe we can get NCAA 22.
  16. In a 'everyone gets 2 off weeks' year, we always seem to get one flat out stinker, and this is that, but there are still a couple of intriguing matchups.

  18. Would've been a great hedge for anyone who bet the Nationals before the series.
  19. B1G refs made sure to even that out with a bad (not as bad as the one on you) PI on Crawford on 3rd down that led to a TD. Obviously it did not remotely matter. Tonight was the symbolic end of Brian Kelly at ND. He's not going anywhere and he might even have another couple of good seasons, but he's never living this down, getting horsefeathering destroyed by a Michigan team that isn't even that great when an easy 11-1 season was sitting right in front of him. Absolute travesty, this 'performance'. I'm glad Herbstreit called them on the carpet for the no-show.
  20. If we know one thing about this front office, it's that they know how to make good #7 draft picks
  21. Javy had about 67% more defensive WAR than Nick Ahmed, guess which one was a Gold Glove finalist
  22. It was always clear that KB was being held down for service time but I agree, I think they planned to make it slightly less obvious and Olt being hurt (which, while not an excuse, never seems to come up when people mention this) forced the timeline up.
  23. Feeling ahead of the curve on my "I can't stand the Astros" take now.
  24. ND doesn't have anyone like KJ Hamler on their team (with experience, anyway - Braden Lenzy could be that guy but he's barely done anything yet), so that should help. I'd like to believe this will be an easy ND win - ND had an open date before the game while Michigan was on the road, Shea Patterson sucks against pressure and ND has a really good defensive line - but who am I kidding? The Irish have lost 7 of 8 in Ann Arbor, and this is going to be a dogfight.
  25. Enjoy the hell out of this week, because next week's slate is a big 'woof'.
