    Lose by 1 in a game where the Brewers scored a run in the most spectacularly BS inning of successfully weak contact I've seen in many moons. Oh well, it's not the worst thing that it took until game 17 to lose in a fairly infuriating fashion.

    A battle of the two 2018 pitcher signings who sucked for us that year. The difference is one is actually good and the other sucks. Let's make sure that bears out in this game.

    He got 5 strikes to play with instead of 3 that AB, it was massive to take advantage of it.

    Schwarber scratched (knee soreness from last night's plunking). Bryant to LF, Bote in at 3B batting 7th and everyone who was 5-7 moves up a spot.

    They shouldn’t play at all if they’ve had no negative tests. Classic Bob.

    Single-admission doubleheaders still happen, but they're extremely rare - almost all doubleheaders are day/night. For that reason I suspect we will be spared the lunacy of that change becoming permanent.

    I wish the DH didn't exist but since it was coming anyway, I voted for the DH. The other 'only for 2020' changes are all garbage, although at least understandable under the circumstances. I still don't like the 3-batter minimum because I don't think it actually accomplishes what it's supposed to, but I haven't really noticed it in-game.

    I didn't really peg Deion as a Stoolie type, but then, I stopped watching the NFL Network's Sunday night highlight show when they turned it into "NFL GameDay Prime" and made it the Deion show, so I haven't heard from him in a while.

    Tuesdays seem to go well for us in Cleveland. To date, Wednesdays have treated us pretty well in the Mistake by the Lake, too. Especially with the Professor on the hill. Keep it going, boys.

    B1G is now officially out. After the #WeWantToPlay stuff started, there was brief thought they might reverse course. Pac-12 will soon follow by all accounts.

    B1G set to announce cancellation tomorrow, per the Detroit Free Press. Pac-12 will probably be soon after. B1G is said to be trying to coordinate with the other power conferences.

    we played them and the al central in 2018 And ingeniously held an umbrella giveaway for one of the games.

    MAC cancels fall football. Says they'll try to play in spring (LOL ok). Rumors the B1G might be headed that way too. This will all be over by Tuesday.

    I think we've discussed this, but it's kind of ridiculous how many insane Cubs/Rockies games there have been at Wrigley when they only come here for one series per season. That 01 game, the Bob Howry blows it/Soriano wins it game in 07, the wild rally in 08, the 18 wild-card game, the Rafael Soriano disaster/Kris Bryant walk-off game in 15. Plus in Colorado you have Javy's debut/12-inning game in 14 and the Dexter Fowler GW HR in 15.

    I haven’t watched him at all but is he worse than Soler? Soler's not great but he at least always seemed to know where he was going. Eloy's flying crash into the netting last night suggests he doesn't have that particular skill.
