I agree, Flames, NIU should be favored and win fairly easily (I predicted 31-20 on my radio show yesterday). The sad part is that our run defense is pretty good and will likely keep Garrett Wolfe from exploding too much (under 150 rushing yards and 225 total yards would be a win in my book), but the seconday has simply been awful (NDSU, a running team, passed for 452 yards against us last week). Brady Hoke will make sure his team's ready to play after being thoroughly outcoached last week, and it should be a decent game, but I don't like our chances. If we somehow win though, NIU falls to 0-2 in the MAC and we can theoretically make it a two-horse race in the West with us and Toledo. As for ND, anything short of complete annihilation of Purdue is unacceptable. The Boilers are among the worst 4-0 teams in the history of football and it really shouldn't be less than a 21-point win.
