  1. Simple problem to fix. Fire Gar
  2. Yes. I know a lot of fans think the Bulls should trade the pick--and they can if they get good value, but some people are fine trading it for average players that won't change anything. I am completely fine waiting this thing out with the confidence that the Bobcats will continue to be terrible and hoping for a top pick in the future. That is the the kind of thing that can completely change a franchise... not some trade for Jason Thompson. You have to like what the Nets have done in 2-3 seasons. I think the finish above Chicago this year
  3. I don't think theres much in terms of 'bad news' with the Blackhawks offseason. We'll lose Stalberg, might lose Bickell, but we should have cap room with the guys leaving to do a few small moves. I'm excited to see the development from Saad.
  4. SMH. That guy is an idiot.
  5. I'm assuming Taj would have to be included as well to make money match. Rose/Hinrich Belineli/Hinrich Deng LA/?/Thomas Noah/? Doesn't seem like it improves us that much and trades away all our assets. I think I'd stand pat and hope Love opts out unless something else comes up that improves us more drastically. And I dont think the Blazers do this deal anyway. that makes us way better, and we have to accept that taj looks like a bad contract right now. Has there been much improvement in his overall game these past few years?
  6. All that forced, "they are really working hard out there" stuff with the coach who had his back to us, and the "don't blink, it will be over" lines were just as awkward as anything he says to the media. This. He's pretty vanilla from the little we've gotten to hear from him.
  7. How does Lamarcus Aldridge or Thomas Robinson strike you? http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2013/06/rockets-in-advanced-talks-on-trade-for-thomas-robinson/ Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine 3m Thomas Robinson to Cavs for No. 19 pick. Thomas Robinson to Bulls for No. 20. Word is both of those scenarios are on table for Rockets http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20130625/sports/706259711/ Aldridge would be nice. I just cant bear watching the same formula for the past 3 years knowing that we'll probably never beat Miami 4 games with it. I'd ideally like to see something change.
  8. I just googled one. It was glorious
  9. Well it did cost them 1 game in the Finals and I cant remember the effect it had on the DET series, but I presume it was at the very least similar. I'm happy I was wrong. However for any of us to sit here and say we had 100% confidence they would pull this thing out during the DET series and after the Bruins won game 3 we would be liars. It was a great playoff run and fun to watch. EDIT: To be fair, I also was irate at the benching of Stalberg and the refusal of pairing Kane, Toews and Bickell. Also playing Bollig was ridiculous. Low and behold, Q finally goes back to it and we turn it up offensively.
  10. something something blind squirrel something something nut. So is David the blind squirrel and cubbyvirus is the nut? Well, this is awkward. I thought we were cool. I was looking for a way to bring it back around to cubbyvirus being crazy, since he repeatedly gave up on the Hawks all year after giving up on the Bears every week all year. You were simply collateral damage in the joke. Repeatedly gave up on the Hawks all year? That's rich, considering all I did was question their horrific failures on the Power Play as UMFan accurately put it. Can you generalize moar plz? =D>
  11. Let the hockey fans say what they want in the hockey thread. I just don't like euphoria based hyperbole I guess. That's stupid. It's not euphoria based or hyperbolic. It's been a longstanding understanding by most people who pay attention to sports. Yes, you're right. I was crazy to think a statement like "NOTHING beats playoff hockey. Nothing." said hours after watching his team win the stanley cup could possibly be hyperbolic or based in euphoria. And that last sentence is complete and utter nonsense. I really don't want to bash hockey, but you're trying to pick this fight... If most people who pay attention to sports think nothing beats it, why is it it easily the 4th most popular sport? This is all kinds of awful
  12. Tasty Where can I find that footage??? What a game! This season was the best season to watch and be a fan of. I had a bad feeling in the 3rd but we managed to god mode it for the last 2-4 min.
  13. Good call. This series is pure insanity. I'm literally scrambled and disoriented
  14. We look nothing like we did earlier
  15. Not our year....I can't watch this...arghhhhh
  16. Bruins had a puck dropped from the gods in front of crow for a [expletive] ass goal
  17. I don't see how the hawks win this one
  18. Good time for a crow meltdown
  19. Gotta see the replay, that night have saved a goal
  20. Lol were getting fucked with no lube
  21. God this game has been [expletive]. Bad penalties and poor d play.... This top line should have been together all series
  22. Yes I do. He was 24-11 in the finals. Averaged 34/6/6 with superior efficiency for a high volume guard and won mvp in every appearence. I dont understand your point, if he wasnt invincible in the finals who bested him? The cool thing to do now is pretend Michael Jordan wasn't Michael Jordan. And forget he averaged 41 pts a game in the '93 Finals
  23. I'm not surprised that this is pretty much pr0n for you, but get freaking real. Do you think your hero Michael was invincible in the Finals? (Spoiler: he was not) He was as close to invincible as a human being could get. That is unless the GOAT comes along in a few years and wins 6 titles by sweeping his opponent all while clearly being the best player on the court and in the world.
