  1. Bushrod on the sidelines at practice. Ice being applies to back of leg....
  2. Man all that pre-season hype of the 49ers and Seahawks was a bit overblown and then they lose Crabtree and Harvin to injuries. NFC is looking more and more wide open.
  3. Outstanding call by Len. Man I was pumped...
  4. That's what we are talking about. I don't think anyone here gives a flying [expletive] about the man's personality, but the question is whether NFL players will care. I'd love a Super Bowl winning geek for a coach. It's not about me though. I really hope he isn't bringing the press conference type of speech into the meeting room. The rambling about lunch buddies, godfathers and swimming was ridiculous. I obviously don't want a meatball type of head coach, but I can say I've never heard a coach speak like Trestman.
  5. Holy [expletive] is Trestman a weirdo. I just heard the press conference. He sounds insane
  6. Yeah, I hear his pseudo-intellectual mumbo jumbo and just picture a clubhouse full of dude completely tuning him out. so long as he calls the right plays and leaves the inspiration to the veterans, he'll be ok, he doesn't need to be loved. there are a lot of meathead idiot coaches out there that give fantastic locker room speeches that can't call a play to save their lives. he doesn't need to be loved, he doesn't even need to be respected (except maybe by Cutler), he just needs the guys to run his plays. that said, this kind of reminds me of the Alpo Suhonen experiment. This. Who cares as long as the Bears win
  7. Ignorance abounds. http://i40.tinypic.com/2cho003.jpg I love it. Stop it. That can't be real
  8. Loving me some Junior right now.
  9. Not really. They have annoying players and an annoying fanbase. I'll root for Garza though. They do? :-k Come on, he's a Cubs fan in New York...of course he has to deal with them ALL THE TIME. Close friend of mine is a Rangers fan. I've heard the fanbase has generally become self-entitled by their success in recent years. So it must be true!
  10. ESPN in general is terrible when it comes to NFL analysis
  11. Sick burn, bra! He totally sounded like such a [expletive] [expletive] and gay and [expletive] saying all that gay [expletive]. HIGH FIVE. Dan Bernstein is that you?
  12. I really do hope the Cubs part ways with Garza. Need more pitching prospects.
  13. =D> =D> those are amazing
  14. As a Laker hater, I was hoping he'd return and remain ineffective while tying up a lot of dollars. To his credit he WAS hurt and fresh off surgery... But still a Lakers loss is enjoyable. If Dwight was motivated on polishing his game, he'd be more dominant
  15. I love the Lakers losing out. They ripped everyone off for him and lose him for nothing. Justice
  16. This will eventually force out Thibs and probably cause more doubt in Roses head. I'm not sure Forman has a long term plan. It's interesting to sit back and watch other GMs maneuver. the long-term plan is obvious. they are basically on record saying that they know they need another star to go with rose. they have assets to make it happen in the next couple years, they're just hoping one becomes available and actually wants to play here. they'll have deng (with value as a player and as an expiring) or the cap space they get from him. they'll have the increasingly valuable charlotte pick. they'll probably have another asset in noah and his suddenly good contract. when a guy like love becomes available, the bulls should have enough to make a trade happen. then, on top of this, they still have mirotic. Yep. Their long term plan is perfectly sound. It's the best course of action. It just doesn't fit into Thibs' win every game philosophy. That's where the friction comes from. The front office is playing the long game and Thibs thinks they're closer to a championship than the front office does. I think the FO believes they're close to a championship, but they're upset with Thibs and his personnel usage.

I think keeping Thibs should be a priority instead of forcing out his assistant and Forman being too heavy handed in his treatment of Thibs. It's clearly an ego battle. He's the Bulls second most valuable piece and a top 3 coach. I'm not sure how I feel about that long term plan, being that it is quite passive. But I guess that's the NBA in 2013. It's time for Rose to recruit

Shouldn't you still be panicking about the Blackhawks getting eliminated? HARRRRRR HAR HAR!!!!! 2/10 You rate your own posts? When do you graduate high school?

  20. Because the Bulls are dead by the time the first round starts?

  22. At least 20 teams would love to be the Bulls. They have a superstar, sell out most every game, and make a ton of money. I still think they can win a title in 2-3 years. Our FO is a joke. These little pissing matches are once again marring the product. Wasn't this one of the issues that came up in 2010 when we were trying to woo Wade?
  23. Man this organization is completely in NBA hell.
