  1. Trade for what? He's coming off a concussion. That doesn't make any sense. That along with being overpaid. That is just some noise.
  2. Star wideouts are usually divas......move along.
  3. It will probably be time to look at RB, I would put that above TE. I'm hoping Ford can emerge as a good backup option and you can usually find decent RB's late in the draft.
  4. Blanchard cut. Looking ahead to the 2014 draft, our needs as I see them are CB/DL/C/TE/WR
  5. Well to pick the 3rd ranked Guard off of the board, one who only played in 4 games at the collegiate level is not exactly a winning draft strategy .
  6. You and Hub. Anybody with a brain? The pick was TERRIBLE as far as draft value goes. We can't seriously be giving Emery a winning pass after 2 pre-season games.... You had at least 3-4 players that fell in the draft that were great value fitting a need of the Bears. CB Trufant/Rhodes DT Sharrif Floyd and TE Eifert just to name a few. Emery's first draft has really shaped up to be a pretty solid miss. Granted there's still some time left, but you cant be too enthusiastic about a first round DE that can't win a starting job, defend the run and that's strictly a situational pass rusher. The 3rd and 4th round picks will/have been cut.
  7. If this doesn't get you hyped, I don't know what will
  8. They shouldn't even play the season if you know who's gonna be in the playoffs. =D> This is great. I'm tired of the overhyping of Seattle and SF. That division is going to beat each other to a pulp. I definitely think the SB winner is not going to be either of those teams. We can also expect ATL to crap the bed again too.
  9. What do you think are the chances that the Bears release Earl Bennett?
  10. I'm ready for the Webb era to end
  11. You gotta see how the board shapes out. Draft strategy IMO is kinda dumb
  12. It sure sounds like he is, thankfully. Need McManis to be ready also, along with Bowman. Really makes me wish they drafted a CB instead of a 2nd LB. Makes it worse since it looks like the second LB won't get any playing time this year. We should have taken Trufant in the first round
  13. I have to keep two of Rodgers, Graham and Megatron.....who should I keep? I'm leaning towards Rodgers and Graham simply cuz Graham is the best TE by a mile...
  14. What's your point? The Packers will still win the division easily because they have the best QB in the league no matter who they put out there on the line.  Rodgers is one hit away from being out for the season. Losing your best lineman at the most important position increases the likelihood of hits
  15. What's your point? That the players are irrelevant. They will win on the power of the Packers name alone. Hahaha. Yeah its a whole different season with less depth. This is a huge loss and their past SB win means dick.
  16. 6th round pick last year CB Isiah Frey has supposedly made a big impact in camp and is a completely different player. We really need some young CB depth...
  17. So basically we've had injuries to both of our lines to start training camp. Not good.
  18. What didn't he like? Hub is still holding a grudge against the Bears for losing his radio color job I think. He has very little positive things to ever say. Hub hates the Bears draft value in the first round the last 2 drafts. I cant complain about that opinion, since I thought Shea and Long were horrible picks at the Bears slot. To think we still might not have a first round pick as a full time starter at one position and haven't since 2004 (Tommy Harris) is nauseating. Well, the reports out of Bourbonais indicate that Shea is playing real fast. I'm hoping he's got some new tricks in his bag, because he had the one trick pony spin move last year and that was it.
  19. And supposedly Trestman has already refuted Cutler.
  20. I imagine it can be potentially helpful, but a raw player like Long who hasn't played much offensive line and needs a crap ton of coaching in that department isn't going to gain nearly as much playing grab ass with Jay Glazer and those meatheads than he is by actually practicing the sport of football. Offensive line is about technique. RB and WR is about exploiting your physical gifts. Apples and oranges. Good post. Glazer is not a NFL coach

  22. Bushrod calf strain, DE Turk Mcbride out for the year with torn Achilles
