    the bottem line is the approach to hitting by this Cubs team is flawed. Their pitching staff, completely sucks. Thats all that needs to be said

    Personally I use the word "[expletive]" and I call my friends "[expletive]" from time to time. It doesen't mean I HATE gay people. It doesent mean I'm fearful of them. Distasteful? Yes. But it's just a word ive grown up and accustomed to calling my buddies. I don't see the big deal with the use of that word. BUT I think if you're in the public spotlight you should use a better word.

    Speaks good English??? Are you serious? Most people can't understand a word he says. He does pronounce the vulgarities surprisingly well, however. Dont look at Ozzie for bad English, look at the inner city kids and the surburban kids who use ebonics, and say "dude" and "gay" in every other sentence. These kids are going through our educational system. But politics and sports don't go hand in hand, right? :sunny:

    Was watching something on Sportscenter about him, and how New york in general doesen't want him, or like him. So I was dreaming of him in Cubby blue playing SS. Is there a package the Cubs can throw together to land him?

    Absolutely wow. On his show he says that it should be announced anyday now. EDIT: Makes mention that the Cubs brass are waiting for a good time to announce it.

    I think its foolish to put the blame squarely on the coaching staff for Murton not putting up numbers. I think Murton plainly is starting to endure a full season of MLB baseball, and therefore hes going to have his ups, and downs. Think of the bright spots of our lineup. DLee and Aram, previously werent doing so hot, but coming to Chicago they simply got better. Cedeno is playing well, and Barrett got better coming to Chicago. Even though I think the coaching staff is bollocks, and totally [expletive], you can't put ALL the blame on them.

    I'd like to see Bynum in the game in RF. At least you know if he gets on its almost an automatic double. With Neifi, he can't run OR hit. He just sucks.
