  1. also known to Bulls fans as the "Nocioni Special" There isn't much I hate more in basketball than when a player commits an obvious foul, then looks shocked when he gets called for it. By the end of Nocioni's tenure on the Bulls I wanted to bash his head in for pulling that crap. I think that's mostly because he sucked by the time he was traded though. I can't imagine being a ref/opponent and not wanting to clock him.
  2. also known to Bulls fans as the "Nocioni Special" lol
  3. Wow, Robinson got posterized. Walker is gagging at the line BADLY.
  4. The Bulls can't put these guys away.
  5. Yeah, that's the kind of receiver I'd like too. We can stretch vertically with Hester and attack the seams with Clark and Olsen. I think we need that guy who can take over in the red zone and pick up big chunks of intermediate yardage so there's effective players at all levels of the defense.
  6. Hey guys we traded for Jay Cutler 8-) *Still pumping my fist*
  7. Nodding my head to the idea of Cutler throwing rockets to Olsen down the seam 8-) .
  8. Let's all hope that Cutler just made Eddie Royal look good and we can pick up a guy who will similarly produce in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  9. How can you not know how you feel about getting a 25 yr old Pro Bowl caliber Qb whos signed for 3 more years? He was 16th in QB rating last year and is .500 for his career. He is a whiny twit, but I hope he plays great. His record is meaningless his defense was horrible. I could give 2 craps if hes a whiner as long as he performs. Not just horrible...historically awful. If it hadn't been for the 2008 Detroit Lions the 2008 Denver Broncos would've been the worst defensive team of the decade. And let's not forget the 7 running backs on IR. The dude can play. Now we've gotta surround him with weapons and protection.
  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4037373 Hmm...I think it's still sketchy on the final details. Clayton only mentions an 09 and 10 first rounder from the Bears and the Bears getting Denver's 09 3rd rounder. That would be a coup.
  11. Try out the huge [expletive] eating grin I've had on my face for the last 10 minutes. It's fun.
  12. News like that doesn't belong at the bottom of the page. http://www.nfl.com/ WE GOT CUTLER!!!
  13. OMG http://www.nfl.com/ YES YES YES YES
  14. I just know that Maclin is going to go a pick or two before the Bears draft and it's going to kill me inside. But DHB will be there 8-) (hopefully)
  15. Why? It's not like Jordan ever deserved one either. Not saying Jordan was not a great defensive player, though, as he runs circles around Lebron defensively. He was the best on the ball defender on the planet until Pippen hit his stride. You could argue Cooper but Jordan was definitely 1A. Rodman, DRob, and Hakeem either weren't in the league or hadn't become dominant defenders when Jordan won his DPotY. I mean, Mark Eaton won it the year after he did.
  16. So long Floyd, Sidney, basketball relevancy, etc. Dixon is a pipe dream.
  17. I don't think the Bears have the ammunition, relative to other potential trade partners, to land Cutler.
  18. You've gotta be kidding me. And now the Bobcats beat the Lakers so the Bulls lead is down to one game. These last two losses have been awful.
  19. Oh god. The Bulls are gagging.
  20. What's Salmons status? He hasn't played at all tonight and I'm guessing that's why he didn't play at the end of the Toronto game.
  21. He's going to be so much better next year but I'm not sure if he'll ever be anything more than a serviceable 3 point shooter. He does need to punish defenses for sagging off of him when he's playing above the top of the key, though. When Tony Parker learned to knock down that shot he became one of the most efficient scorers in the game and when you combine that with Rose's superior athleticism you'll have a devastating player. Between being reffed more fairly, improved shooting, and at least becoming an average defender Rose will become a monster.
  22. Well between the putrid defense, Vinny's explicable substitutions, the refs, and Rose's late game boners that was the 2nd most frustrating loss of the year after the Miami game. So good of Vinny to reward Noah's play with a 40 minute stretch on the bench and sticking Salmons, who has been the most effective player on the team recently, with a spot on the bench so he could jerk around with his 3 guard idiocy.
