  1. It seems the schedule makers are giving the Bears a lot of hype with 5 prime time games.
  2. So Freeman is going to be in the green room? We could be looking at a Rodgers-esque wait. He must have some sort of assurance that he's going Round 1.
  3. Noah would give him a battle and at least make him work--he's been great lately. If Miller has to play him for any extended amount of time it'll be murder, though. And while we're on the topic of Noah, I have to say that he has been exhibiting a lot more offensive potential than I ever thought he had. He can't shoot at all (although with that FT form you'd expect him to be Ben Wallace/Shaq awful when he's nearly hits at a 70% clip) but he has fantastic hands, can handle the ball well, makes great passes, and is learning to set effective picks. I'm excited about him.
  4. Haha, suck it Detroit! DONT DO 'EM LIKE THAT BEN (and Derrick)!!
  5. Rose is just breathtaking in the open floor. What a move.
  6. This is shaping up to be a pretty good ending. Rose is taking over, too.
  7. Koyie is up to an .917 OPS after today's game. Geovany Pipp anyone??? But in all seriousness, Koyie is one of those guys that when he stands in the box he looks like he should be a better hitter than he really is. He passes the eye test. I'm liking him just fine so far though.
  8. Everyone knows opps didn't exist back then.
  9. Joe's Secrets of the Pros: Hitting home runs is better than hitting singles with a guy on 2nd.
  10. That's what Gregg should've been doing to Duffy on Friday.
  11. Wow, this is going to haunt Kenny Perry. Cabrera wins after being behind a tree on the first playoff hole.
  12. Well he's not the best long distance spot up shooter--then again, I doubt there are many examples of one of the better 2 guards in the league being the best 3 point shooters. Those are almost always just role type guys. But Harden is definitely a good shooter and in terms of overall shooting ability (midrange, off the dribble, 3 point) he's ahead of all the other 2 guards I can think of. Henderson comes close maybe. But I like Henderson more than a lot of other guys too.
  13. I don't know where this idea that James Harden can't shoot is coming from. He's probably one of the 5 best shooters in the entire draft and certainly near the top among guys who project as more than spot up type guys.
  14. Uh, Phil you gotta go for the pin there buddy.
  15. Tiger and Phil having a choke off.
  16. Mickelson 1 stroke back after 6 birdies in the first 8 holes! Tiger just eagled and is 4 back. Phil hit one of the absolute best shots I've ever seen on the 7th hole.
  17. From the front page of tomorrow morning's New York Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/12/sports/baseball/12steroids.html?ref=todayspaper This Ramon Scruggs guy is a new name, no? E: Bloops, wrong link.
  18. Not out of the realm of possibility if one of them pulls a 65 or something out of their butt. Even then, if one of the top two go one under or better, which both have done in each of the three rounds, Tiger and Phil can't win. If they see Tiger charging up the leader board on Sunday you can bet their knees will be jello...even more than they already are. Although Perry doesn't seem like the guy to fold and Cabrera has already withstood Tiger at the U.S. Open in 2007.
  19. Not out of the realm of possibility if one of them pulls a 65 or something out of their butt.
  20. He's kind of a black hole once he gets the ball but he makes up for it by getting to the line and generally being a very efficient shooter.
  21. Gooz looked great when he initially came in and was painting the corners. Maybe it got into his head that he was exhibiting good control and just lost it from there. Cotts looks completely worthless.
  22. At least we ended the consecutive at bat on base streak by Hart. Moral victories.
  23. The Bradley at bat was the first time Dave Bush's pitching looked as good as his line did through the first 3 innings. Couple warning track shots but hopefully we're going to start squaring up this clown consistently. He's the epitome of "underwhelming."
