Consider that brady has had a better career than lebron in his sport, that is way more popular than the nba, but isnt nearly as famous as lebron as an individual.

griffey seemed like the only onethat could approach capturing hearts and minds lile mj did when I was a kid. A guy that only plays 20 times ayear or so behind a facemask cant have that kind of impact to an american kid or something.

That 45 second sequence is so epic. Imagine being the most famous human on the planet, and then doing a quick drive to cut it to one. After that you strip the best power forward ever and then bury the game winner with your final shot in that uni to clinch your second personal three peat. No one will ever top that kind of career arc.
