Just got home. Barnes clearly fouls Jackson so I'm not sure why I'm supposed to be outraged. I thoughr they missed the foul on CP3 on the last play.

Also ignoring the fact that Conte might not even be healthy at the start of the season. All 4 safeties that had any value are gone now. The Bears really [expletive] up in hindsight and should have taken Clinton-Dix. No, they didn't. So who are the Bears going to find better than Conte at this point? Free agency is done, the talent of safeties dropped off after Ward. First off, they already got rid of the worst safety in the lineup (Wright). Secondly, Fuller can play and safety and probably will at least a little in non-nickel sets. Thirdly, Conte was good a few years ago when the front 4 was much better and not playing guys off the street; they've improved the DL and can continue to do so tomorrow. Hope he's better when he's not as exposed. I'm not sure he'll even start at the beginning of the season because of injury. I'll cut a bitch if I have to watch conte completely whiff coming downhill on the ball carrier again
