If we'd have been bad enough to tank we'd be discussing all sorts of other problems with the roster and we probably wouldn't be in any kind of running for Melo or another difference maker. Basically we'd have a much different view on Noah, Gibson, Butler, etc. if we were truly bad and instead of being pumped to add Rose back into the mix we'd all be saying "wow, this team is very far away even with Rose and a draft pick."
