  1. That's what the radar on TV was saying. Why are you confused? Because I'm listening on Gameday Audio and following this thread (no TV), and there was talk of him being in the mid to high 80's. Guess he's warmed up now.
  2. Pads announcers just reported that WGN's radar gun was picking up Prior around 92-93 last inning...I'm confused now. :?
  3. Ugh...That's the Marquis I knew and loved (when he was a Cardinal, that is  )
  4. here is today's: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/y2006/gd.html?2007_03_21_texmlb_chnmlb_1&brand=mlb Thanks for the link. Tell me, where did you find it ? I've been all over their sight and I didn't see it !! I can't find them either, so I just type in the url manually (a little trial and error involved). :( I'll try to post them in each ST game thread. Yeah, it's not too difficult once you notice the pattern in each day's link (and the abbreviations for each team) A caveat, though: Gameday hasn't been updating balls and strikes for the whole of Spring training, just the at bat outcomes. So when it looks like everyone's swinging on the first pitch, walks are 4-0 and K's are 0-3, they really aren't. (There's a joke in there, but I'll let someone else have it ;))
  5. HBP and 2-run homer is in play, though... :(
  6. That was one sweet-sounding homer. :D
  7. Do the broadcasters know the internet listeners can hear them when they're doing sound checks like that?
  8. Do we know the gun is accurate? Was it picking up Lilly at the right speed?
  9. Have to say I didn't expect a shoutout from the other team's radio guys...must not be getting many e-mails from the A's fans. :D
  10. That's a Dustyism if I've ever heard one. Eyre walks in a run.. :?
  11. LOL...BARRETT had an ITP homer yesterday??
  12. I'll see your barf and raise you a convulsion.
  13. I see it's already posted.....this is just scary, and I'd rather wait until there's actually a full article before I believe it. But...wow. Hopefully Rothchild really did find his pitching flaw (physical, not mental - we all know nobody can fix that ) Even so, that money is ridiculous.
  14. I was going to wait until somebody started a thread about this.... This was posted on another board I frequent: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/story/471528p-396783c.html The words "Mark DeRosa's best friend" scare the living hell out of me.
  15. MojoPin's sig strikes again. Literally. Yeah....I don't even want to imagine what that feels like.
  16. Please don't do that ever again, Carlos. #-o
  17. Dusty coming up on the post-game show....this is sure to be a tear-jerker. :D
  18. I thought I was dreaming. We actually got something of value for Neifi??
  19. Santo's call probably sounded something like that, too. :D
  20. Y'know....for 3 walks through 3 innings, O'Malley's pitch count is awfully low.
  21. If Berkman catches that foul ball, it's 1-0. But alas these are the Cubs, who can turn an opponents mistake into nothing.
  22. The answer is on MLB.com's front page in the automatic scroll-thru - Never. It's an MLB first. Both are also the two longest games played in their respective ballparks (same source)
  23. Sorry if I missed it, but did anyone get an official game time?
