    throw was on homeplate side of first and wide. Pujols came off the bag and tried the swipe tag, but DeRosa deeked into foul territory and Pufols missed iwth the swipe. however, DeRosa couldn't get back to the bag. obviously a bunch of Cards started yelling about it and Pujols went to tag and DeRosa made a move to second and got tagged out. The ump clearly signalled DeRosa safe and I don't think that was a move to second. Ump missed the call. Seeing as it's Angel Hernandez, that wouldn't surprise me. :roll:

    I have my doubts that what we will witness tomorrow will resemble "baseball". But it's Cubs and Cards, so it'll be entertaining at least. Can't wait to see the Cards outfield trying to catch wind-blown fly balls....unfortunately the Cubs will probably manage to counter that by being unable to drive in the unearned runs (the earned ones too, most likely). If you like good baseball, this might be one series to tune out.
