    He would've had ZERO chance to throw out Murton from where that landed. He knew the game was over and just gave up on it. He initially came in on it, though. I grant you that he would have had little chance of throwing Murton out, but even on the off chance Murton falls down or something, you still have to make that play. Being that it's the Cubs, I'll accept that as a possibilty. :lol:

    Out at least three months...elbow surgery. I thought he was rehabbing....something else must have gone wrong, because I thought he was going to be back with the Cards within 2 weeks.
