    Looks like the Sox are going to land top 100 spec Eduardo Rodriguez for Andrew Miller. ERod has had a really bad season, but it's a worthwhile gamble. No, just no. They are PROSPECTS. Not specs. Keep that stupid [expletive] at PSD.

    If Hammel didn't have a 9+ ERA in his 4 starts, I doubt Lester is an A. At least we'll be able to grab Hammel next year relatively cheaply again.

    Hank Schulman reiterated price is VERY HIGH on Bonifacio. Which is great. I don't remember the circumstances exactly. But KC had just exercised his option, but then signed a FA a few days later and went over their budget, hence, they waived Emilio.

    Sounds like the Cubs will just be picking for the Red Sox in this case, right? Or Red Sox could pluck a guy from us that we didn't add, that failed to get picked.(Example-Marco Hernandez)

    FB, Slider, Change. Chance at first 2 becoming plus. Below average Change. Can hit 94, sits 91-92. Nothing special, but not a nothing either. Very happy with this as the return on Barney. He was 19 and Opening Day starter in the MWL this year. It's not bad. Not bad at all.

    I'd love to see the lurkers start posting frequently. I was anti metrics for a long time. I lurked here, while posting elsewhere, until I realized that saber metrics weren't the devil. I learn something here every day. The board has humor, extremely up to the date news, and excellent discussions on many topics, baseball related and more. But the lurkers already know this, because some are here multiple times a day and have been here longer than me. Just jump in, everyone winds up on the wrong side of an argument from time to time. Learn from it and jump into the next one. That said, if there's a better minor league forum on a team site anywhere, I'd be shocked. This place is the [expletive].

It's like Glass Joe fighting himself. i see nothing wrong with that. Oh, I have no issue with that either. I just don't like either. I'd certainly choose Andy over Al though. My guess is he's NotTomRicketts.

    I was browsing the VSL/DSL rosters the other day and came up with 6 guys to keep an eye on based on stat scouting and DOB: Alfredo Colorado Erling Moreno (well, this one was kind of obvious) Eugenio Palma Luis Hidalgo Wladimir Galindo Yohan Matos No Carlos A. Rod? He sucked last year in Arizona and is an upper 80's velo guy that has control. Nothing to see here.
