    Not worried about Shark bad mouthing us. One, I don't think he will. He seemed to understand what we were doing. Two, even if he did, I seriously doubt it'd mean that much anyway. Lester knows our FO much better than he'll get to know Shark over a two month period.

    I think Raisin may have transposed KC with Boise. KC isn't listed as playing today. My guess is Norwood is starting with Boise.(and those stats are from Boise)

    If Iowa makes the playoffs, I think I saw it could be mid September.(ducks)

    There is no analyst out there banging Lindor's drum because of his bat. He's a future Gold Glove SS with potential for a slightly above average bat. He doesn't turn 21 until the middle of November. So showing a 70 something at bat sample size of him in AAA isn't exactly saying much. I don't think he's a top 10 type prospect, but he's not the most overrated guy around either.

    Intrigued? Sure, but I'm doubting he winds up as anything more than Rusin. If we don't add him to the 40man this offseason, someone will take him.

    I'd be shocked if he didn't get called back up. It's his first successful run of any length at AAA. They should bring him back and give him 15-20 starts to see if anything has changed. Doesn't hurt us and we should learn enough to put this thing to rest one way or the other. I can buy him never truly being comfortable, since he never received consistent time as a starter. Doesn't hurt anything to give him a last shot, I hope they do.

    Yeah, but they're evidently hung up on 4/70 with him, which isn't remotely close to what he'll get.

    As much as I love our prospects, the odds that all of Javy, Russell, KB, and Alcantara(guys that could affect Castro's usefulness to us) is extremely slim. If I HAD to deal one of that group or Castro, I'd deal Alcantara. And sign Rusney to play CF.

    Yes, with their rapid movement and at their current projection rates, Cameron has them as league average relievers for their age 36 seasons and the first quarter of their age 37 seasons as well.

    Wheeler and Snydegaard? Yeah, that's along the lines of what I'd want, but it's also why I'm more than OK keeping all of our SS. Because I can't see another team giving us that type of package.

    God, the Marlins are [expletive] idiots. As is Dave Cameron. What a [expletive] steal. Between Turner, Doubront, Straily, and Hendricks-I think we've knocked both Wood and Jaxon out of our rotation next year.

    I wouldn't mind trading Starlin for pitching, but it'd have to be for something under quite a bit of control. Yet cheaper than Hamels. We can go get guys like Lester or Scherzer on the 100 mill plus contracts in FA. I'm not sure of who's even available for the type trade I'd look for. Maybe no one. Which is why I'm perfectly fine putting Starlin at 3B and just using money and/or lesser prospects(Almora on down) to acquire pitching.

    Not sure whether WE do, but I'd think the FO can, since he's never left their clutches other than the first part of the offseason when Hoyer and Jason came on board before they dealt for him.

    I'm not posting it, but I saw a CSN article yesterday or today that was complaining about all the hype Javy was getting when Abreu is the best player in town.

    We're going to make the playoffs next year with a lineup that has an average age under 25.
